Claire and Richard began dating in May 2015 and have been inseparable ever since. They officially moved in together in January 2017 (although many would argue that Claire had moved in well before then) and bought their first home together in October 2017. They brought home their little Lottie dog in July 2018 to complete their family.

In October 2018 they took a memorable trip to New York City, and during a bike ride round central park, on 30th October, Richard got down on one knee and popped the question.

Both Claire and Richard have been accused of being too laid back for their own good, and after over a year of searching for a wedding venue, finally decided to have a big wedding at Dunblane hydro on 30th of October 2020, 2 years to the day they got engaged.

Well, as they say, make plans and the Universe laughs! Who could have predicted that a global pandemic would strike and everyone's plans for 2020 would be going down the pan! Due to this, the plans for a big wedding celebration were scrapped, and a new plan quickly put in place but unfortunately this couldn’t go ahead.

Richard wanted a memorable date for the wedding and when 22/2/22 (Twosday as he likes to call it!) presented itself it was hard to resist!
