Charlie made it official on August 16th at a Granger Smith concert! This was 2 months after Charlie walked up to Claire at Winstock Country Music Festival after not seeing each other since high school. He asked me on a date right there!

After 1 month of dating, we started our 3-year long-distance relationship (distance really does make the heart grow fonder)! This involved hours and hours on Facetime, thousands of miles driving to and from the University of MN and University of SD, and Claire making it to as many swim meets as possible!

COVID hit so we both moved home from college and enjoyed our extended summer together filled with lots of Rummikub, bonfires, and fishing!
