Clara and Tim met as youthful counsellors and canoe trip guides at Camp Pathfinder in 2013. They were good friends for a few years until they fell in love!

They spent three years navigating a long distance relationship between Wyoming and Algonquin Park - where Tim was skiing and leading canoe trips - and London where Clara moved for graduate school.

In 2018, they decided to take the leap and move to the same continent! Together, they moved to Nairobi, Kenya where they made wonderful friends and went on many safaris. After three years they moved back to London. Tim enjoyed bingeing on football and cricket while Clara enjoyed complaining about the weather. Tim proposed during a hike on Vancouver Island, a place very dear to them, and now they are excited to get married in their favorite place in the world.

In January 2024, Tim and Clara moved back to Kenya. They are now very happy settling back in to life on safari and at the beach - oh and work also!
