Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
Dress code is cocktail attire, but we encourage you to wear what you feel best in. Layers are encouraged, as we anticipate Fall weather with chilly evenings!
Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?
Ceremony will be indoors, but reception will be outside under a tent right on the water! Ladies, heels are fine, as the tent will have a floor.
What is the weather normally like this time of year?
The average high temperature in Door County, Wisconsin in September is 71°F and the average low is 51°F.
How far in advance should I book accommodations?
The sooner the better! September is still peak season in Door County, and things book up fast.
Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
The ceremony will be a full mass at Stella Maris Catholic Church in Egg Harbor, followed by dinner and dancing at Alpine Resort! Please note: There are multiple Stella Maris churches, we are at the Egg Harbor location!
Will there be other wedding events I can attend?
Stay tuned for more details! We will be in town both Thursday & Saturday, and will coordinate some fun activities for folks who are in town to join.
What is the RSVP deadline?
You can expect your invite in the mail late April/early May. RSVPs will be due July 19th, 2025.
Are kids invited to the wedding?
Immediate family only!
Will transportation be provided?
Yes, but ONLY to/from The Landmark and Stone Harbor. If you are planning to rent an airbnb, plan accordingly, as Ubers do not exist on the peninsula. See the "Travel" tab for some resources to set up additional ground transportation as needed.
Where should guests park?
Parking will be provided at both the church & Alpine.
Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food? Will there be an open bar?
Passed apps at the cocktail hour, followed by a seated meal & open bar, will be provided at the reception.
