This is our most frequently asked question and the answer is quite simple. On our first date, Clarissa beat Steele 6 fish to 1 (very little) fish. Steele wanted to honor that score by getting married on 6/1. The soonest date that 6/1 falls on a Saturday (when most can attend) is in 2024. This date was suggested and tentatively set before Steele even proposed, as it was discussed while Clarissa was heavily medicated in the hospital, lol. We honestly don't mind the long engagement. It gives us plenty of time to save, plan, and get things exactly the way we want them!
