Clark and Katelyn met when they were both working as servers at Ruby Tuesday (yep, the place with the salad bar). They began hanging out outside of work and quickly became regular fixtures in each others lives. Their first date was to Bad Daddys Burgers, where Clark immediately fell in love with Katelyn when he saw her face covered in mustard and ketchup from a HUGE burger.

Clark asked Katelyn to be his girlfriend in uptown Charlotte in the middle of a lightning storm on May 7, 2018. They've continued to work together at various jobs over the years, including their current jobs at USI Insurance Services. They now live together in south Charlotte with their dog Ziggy and their cat Gracie.
