The dress code is formal (women - floor length or tea length dresses preferred; men - suits preferred). We ask that everyone take this as an opportunity to dress your best!
**Ladies - please note that pointy/high heels are NOT allowed on the yacht for safety reasons. If you plan to wear heels please make sure they are wedges or block heels. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Katelyn. We'd rather you inquire ahead of time and be safe than not be allowed to board the day-of!
Can I bring my kids?
As much as we adore your kiddos, we are keeping this a child-free gathering. We hope that you understand, and that you are able to enjoy a weekend getaway in Charleston!
Can I bring a plus-one?
With this being a small and intimate event, we only have space for those that are explicitly listed on your invitation.
What is the timeline of the wedding day?
Please plan to be at the venue 15-30 minutes early to ensure you board the boat before it leaves the dock. The boat will be leaving at 5:00 pm exactly so plan to arrive at 4:45 at the LATEST!
We will be sailing 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at which time the boat will dock in case anyone needs to leave early. The reception will continue on the boat once it’s docked until 9:00 pm. We will be traveling back to downtown Charleston for the after party for anyone wanting to continue the festivities with us!
Will there be parking at the venue?
There is a paid public parking lot at the dock; however, space is limited. We highly recommend Ubering to and from the venue. Please also take into consideration that there will be an open bar so you can plan to travel safely.
