I have been to Santa Marta several times and have been on a few excursions. One of my favorites is hiking along the road to the Waterfalls in Minca, this is not a paved trail. Another is renting a boat with a Captain and sailing to Tyrona National Park. You can be part of a larger group or rent a smaller boat just for your group. This is a total relaxation, swimming, sunbathing, eating and drinking outing. I also like taking the walking food tour in Historic Santa Marta. Although we did not like our guide that much, I believe Luchy could set you properly. Have Fun!
