Clayton and Rachel's love story began in the vibrant city of San Francisco, just before the world was plunged into the global pandemic. Between nature walks, cooking, and finding new ways to enjoy the city without coming within 6 feet of others, it turned out that being in each other's "social bubble" was the perfect way to grow their connection. Together they grew their love of board games, pickle ball, food, and gardening.
As the world opened up, Clayton and Rachel slowly ventured out together, exploring northern California as well as taking trips to meet each others' family in Hawaii, Missouri, and Ohio. It was during a trip to Zambia that Clayton proposed, on cruise of the Zambezi river just above Victoria Falls.
Clayton and Rachel knew that the Big Island, where Rachel had grown up and loved deeply, was the right place to be married, and they are so grateful to all of the guests who are able to join them on their special day.
