Our Wedding

We met the way all great modern love stories begin: behind the counter at Panera Bread in 2014. Somewhere between brewing coffee and making salads, we became fast friends—and before long, something more was starting to take shape.Our first unofficial “date” (though we definitely weren’t calling it that) was a concert at City Winery. It was our first time hanging out outside of work, and we walked into this romantic, candlelit venue that felt way too serious for two friends just trying to catch some live music. We were so uncomfortable, we couldn’t stop laughing—and that kind of set the tone for us: laughter, music, and never taking ourselves too seriously.There wasn’t one big moment when we knew it was love—it just happened. From the beginning, we’ve been pretty much inseparable. The connection came easily, and it always felt like home.Cody proposed during a weekend kayaking and camping trip—two of our favorite things rolled into one. While we were setting up camp before hitting the water, he asked the question, and everything after that felt like a dream. We were giddy the entire float down the river. That evening, we celebrated with a glass of Rip Van Winkle bourbon (a favorite) in our camper, calling all our friends and family to share the news.Over the years, our life has grown around the things we love most: live music, long runs, being outdoors, and hanging out with our dogs. Whether we're planning our next concert or just sitting on the porch with coffee, we’re happiest when we’re doing life together.We can’t wait to celebrate with all the people who’ve been part of our story so far—and start this next chapter surrounded by love, laughter, and maybe a little more bourbon.

Our ceremony will take place at a vineyard, followed by a reception in a greenhouse. We are encouraging our guests to wear garden-esque semi-formal attire.
