As many of you know this story, here’s for the ones that don’t.

And so it begins…

Cody and Melissa were both on completely separate work trips that so happened to be at a all inclusive resort in Cancun Mexico. Little did they know their last night there would change their lives forever. Cody didn’t hesitate to see how stunning and outgoing Melissa was and wasn’t afraid to ask if he could buy her a drink (FYI all inclusive resort means drinks are included..). Melissa figured why not because everyone on her team had already gone to bed for the night. They end up having lots of giggles and amazing conversations for the rest of the night. They exchanged numbers and went their separate ways. For Melissa home was Houston, Texas. For Cody’s home was Salem, Ohio. Immediately Cody took it upon himself to make the first move and ask if he could fly to Texas to rekindle the friendship that formed in Mexico.

The two have been inseparable since that night at the Cancun bar.
