Our Wedding

Cody and Staci met in the Summer of 2022 and had their first date at Avanti, a food hall in downtown Boulder, Colorado. One of the first things they bonded over was Maryland, the state both of them lived in prior to moving West to the mountains. On their first date, Staci made her love for adventure known when she asked Cody to do a Tough Mudder in just a couple of weeks. Having done mud runs before, and intrigued by Staci’s outdoors enthusiasm, he agreed to join her on a run where they’d be electrocuted, soaked, menthol gassed, and COVERED in mud. Since then, the couple has gone on more adventures together than they can count; they’ve skied double black diamond runs, rafted in class four rapids, herded cattle from horseback, canyoneered slot canyons, flown a plane from Boulder to Morrison and back, and backpacked many, many miles through Colorado and Wyoming. Through it all, they have laughed and fallen more in love every day.

Michael and Cody met on a snowshoe trip in Rocky Mountain National Park shortly after they both moved to Boulder. They've been on MANY adventures together over the last 4 years -  From camping in the desert near Moab, UT to the intense climbs of Four Pass Loop near Aspen, CO they always have an absolute blast struggling through outdoor adventures together.

Staci and Laura met at The Dark Horse as part of a social event geared towards meeting new friends for those new to the area. They immediately bonded over their love of huskies, and grew closer as friends as they shared weekends together on ski trips to Jackson Hole and Steamboat as well as numerous hikes and game nights.

Spencer and Cody met at the Movement climbing gym in Boulder. Now, since Cody has mostly stopped climbing, they share an interest in backpacking and have traversed multiple sections of the Colorado Trail and Wind River Range together. Spencer being forever a showman and unbelievably comfortable with public speaking has kindly agreed to be Staci's and Cody's wedding officiant as well as a groomsman.

Mikhaila holds the special honor of being both Cody's beloved sister and one of Staci's cherished bridesmaids. Staci and Mikhaila spent time getting to know each other during Mikhaila's trip to Colorado, where Mikhaila joined Staci and her friends during a weekend trip to Keystone to view the famous fall colors in the mountains.

Jaron and Cody have known each other nearly as long as Staci and Cody (like 3 days less). Jaron is Staci's brother first and foremost, but he and Cody have bonded over chess as well as a mutual enjoyment of outdoor adventures. While Jaron currently lives in NYC, as far from the wilderness as can be, he has whitewater rafted, backpacked, skied and hiked many miles with Cody and Staci (and many of the others in the wedding party for that matter).

Staci and Mary met during their freshman year of high school during a biology lab and they quickly became close friends. They've shared laughs through Grey's Anatomy watch parties, French class and everything in between. Mary has been there for Staci through all the ups and downs of life so it wasn't a question of asking Mary to be a bridesmaid.

Mary

Drew (aka Scorchius) and Cody (aka Warfox) -- we're gaming nerds -- met while they were attending middle school in Fallon, NV. They both were members of the Fallon Swing Club, a performance dance team in the area, and they have stayed in touch and remained good friends, both via video games and occasional travel meetups, since Cody moved away in 2010.

Vicki is Staci's cousin. Growing up, these two were practically inseparable, spending countless hours together creating the kind of childhood memories that last a lifetime. Though life has taken them to different places and miles now separate their daily lives, their connection remains as strong as ever. Every holiday reunion is like pressing play on a paused conversation – they slip back into their easy rhythm of shared jokes, inside stories, and the comfortable familiarity that only comes from truly knowing someone.

Kyle and Cody met when they ran with the Boulder Trail Running Breakfast Club, a meetup group that traverses anywhere from 7 to 17 miles on Saturdays before devouring Huevos Rancheros. One of their earliest adventures together was assisting with an unofficial search and rescue operation looking for a wayward dog after a long run. They've kept in touch and remained good friends while Kyle has moved from Boulder to Austin, Salt Lake City, and back to Austin.

Kyle

Sarah is Staci's cousin. From early childhood, they were constant companions. From endless sleepovers filled with late-night giggles and secret-sharing to cheering each other on from the softball bleachers, Sarah and Staci have been each other's biggest supporters through every season of life.
Their adventures together span years of road trips, family gatherings, and treasured afternoons spent at Bya's (their grandma's) house, where some of their most cherished memories were made.

Copper Lodging

There are three levels of lodging, with all room types available for each level. Gold: Newest lodging options with the most amenities. Includes Copper One, Mill Club, Tucker Mountain, Taylors Crossing and Passage Point. Located throughout Copper Village. Amenities include a fitness room, outdoor spa, cable TV, and Wifi. The condominium suites also offer gas fireplaces, full kitchens, and heated underground parking in the buildings.&nbsp; Silver: Located mountain-side or within yards of our complimentary shuttle system, these remain some of our most requested and valued guest units.&nbsp;This tier includes Mountain Plaza and Village Square. Many have in building spas (depending on building).&nbsp;Amenities include cable TV and Wifi. The condominium suites also offer full kitchens, and heated underground parking in the buildings.&nbsp; Bronze:&nbsp;These units are in the original Copper buildings built between 1975-1985 (including Bridge End and West Lake). Silverthorne and Frisco are towns within a 20 minute drive to Copper Mountain and have a variety of hotels available. From Denver Union Station

Bustang provides multiple roundtrips every day of the week from Denver's Union Station to the Frisco Transit Center. From there, you can hop on the free Summit Stage bus to reach Copper.&nbsp;Tickets are $24.00 roundtrip.&nbsp; Tip: You can get to Union Station from Denver International Airport via the A Line train. Pegasus Shuttle Van

The Pegasus shuttle van provides almost hourly service Friday through Sunday from Denver's Union Station to the Frisco Transit Center. From there passengers can hop on the free Summit Stage bus to reach Copper. Tickets start at $26.00 roundtrip.&nbsp; Tip: You can get to Union Station from Denver International Airport via the A Line train. Lodging & Travel

While Copper Mountain has earned the nickname "The Athlete's Mountain" because of its challenging terrain, it truly does have something for everyone to ride. Towards the West side of the resort there are plentiful green runs that allow folks to get their feet wet without fear of committing to terrain beyond their skill level. In the middle of the mountain, above Center Village, there are some of the best blue runs in the western United States. And finally, to the West there exists Copper's legendary black diamond runs where the US Ski Team and others train regularly for World Cup races. This is Cody and Staci's favorite mountain for a reason and they are so excited for you to experience it in your way around their wedding! Lift tickets vary in price daily. Cody and Staci both have Ikon Pass Friends and Family discounts available for a total of 16 guests. Let them know if you would like one prior to the event! Parking at the resort is downright easy. If you choose to stay off resort, plan to park in the free Alpine or Far East parking lots. There are shuttles running regularly that can take you to any village at the resort.

Ski or Snowboard at Copper Mountain

If skiing and snowboarding aren't your thing, but you still want to experience Copper Mountain, check out the snow tubing option in Center Village! This is a budget friendly option at around $45 for a one hour ticket and is a great way to warm up for Après (fancy word for a ski party) later in the day.

Good Times Adventure Tours

Snowshoeing is a great way to get outdoors and explore in the winter. Colorado Adventure Guides provides you with more advanced, higher-paced snowshoe hikes or just a relaxing family adventure in the woods. Their guides know where to go—based on your preferences, weather, and snow conditions—to provide you with a safe and enjoyable snowshoeing guided tour. They offer both a half-day tour (about 4 hours – depart daily at 8 am and 1 pm) and a shortened 2-hour tour (depart daily at 8am, 11am, and 2pm). Snowshoes and poles are included for each tour.

The dress code for our special day is formal. Suits, dresses, pantsuits, and kilts are all quite acceptable. Keep in mind although it will be April, it is still winter and snowy in the mountains.The ceremony will be outdoors on a covered patio. A fireplace, heat lamps, and blankets will all be available to keep you warm!
