The first time we met in 2009, we were both dating other people and had become really good friends. We went to parties together, group lunch dates, and played Rock Band in the dorm lounge (in which he was clearly the superior player). The summer before our junior year of college we had drifted a bit, but shortly after school started we both found ourselves single and our romance slowly blossomed. Cody claims he put the moves on me frequently, but I didn't realize my feelings until I packed up for the summer and got very emotional at not seeing him. A few weeks after that I visited him and demanded he ask me to be his girlfriend. 7 years later, here we are! We are truly two best friends who fell in love with each other in the most organic way possible. We would like to thank Phantom of the Opera and Taco Bell for contributing in bringing us closer together.

On October 10, 2020 we decided to have a small backyard ceremony and legally got married. If this pandemic has taught us anything is that we needed love more than ever and after almost a decade together, we didn't want to wait any longer. We will party it up one year later and celebrate our vow renewal after a difficult year.
