Where should I stay if I want transportation for the wedding?

If you are staying at the Waterbury Inn, High Point Inn, or Somerset Inn, transportation will be provided for the wedding.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

We request that our guests wear cocktail attire. Please be mindful that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the grass.

Are children allowed?

Due to the guest count, we respectfully request that you leave your children at home. Family members' children are welcome and have been notified.

Why Door County?

Door County goes way back in the Bierman family, as that is where Rich grew up, and Karen spent her summers growing up. They wanted to do the same for their family, so Megan and Chris spent their summers in Door County from the time they could walk until they graduated from college. Megan had always dreamed of getting married in Door County, and it was a non-negotiable (luckily, Colby loves Door County). Door County is considered home to the Bierman family, and they are excited for out-of-town guests to experience all that Door County has to offer.

What will happen in the event of rain?

The Welcome Party will be moved inside the boathouse at the Gordon Lodge on Friday. On Saturday, just the ceremony and cocktail hour is outside which would then be moved into the reception building.

What is the Welcome Party attire?

Dressy Casual: Think summer dress, polo, or button down.
