Cole's first words to Emma during her internship at Waco High: "Get out of here! I am telling you now. You need to leave teaching immediately!" But more on that later...

They did in fact meet teaching at the same school, which they were able to trauma bond over. Before they were about to move to two different cities, Cole asked Emma out on a date because he wanted "to pogo stick his way into her heart" (he was well aware of her pogo stick obsession). Their first date easily went to 4am because they lost track of time, which was a clear sign this date would be a forever date <3<3<3

It has only been three years going on four together, but they feel like they have known each other their whole lives. They always look forward to exploring: Renaissance Faires, wearing bald caps at Six Flags, backpacking Olympic National Park and Catalina island, skydiving, roadtripping, tubing, attending races, ACL, gaming and nerding out over animes, fangirling over hockey and soccer games, going on our hot girl walks together, and how could we forget their special and very necessary aquarium visits?!?!?! But that's the easy stuff.

It's the hard stuff that makes the easy stuff more fun. It's the glue. In season 3 of White Lotus, Laurie tells her friends that time is what gives life meaning. Putting the work and time in with each other has helped them look across the table and get giddy about their life partners. They don't want to grow old together. They want to stay young! And stay young they will because they are no strangers to whimsy.

Now back to the teaching. They are both in fact listening to Cole's wise wisdom (FINALLY) and going back to school together to attend Texas State University in San Marcos. Starting off as teachers and now getting the opportunity to be students together!!! They are so freaking excited for Cole to go back for his Master's in Biology and Emma will be going for her Master's in Counseling. It will be rough financially going back to school at the same time, especially after a wedding, but the beauty of their relationship is they do not think things through. They just do it. It could be dangerous, but who could possibly know?!?!?!
