Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilman, Illinois. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at the Ford County Farigrounds in Melvin, Illinois. It is a 25 minute drive between the two locations.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat in the church.
Is there a dress code?
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Please wear semi-formal attire.
Can I bring a guest/date?
We are excited to celebrate this day with our close family and friends. We are hoping to keep the guest list limited to those listed on the invitations and RSVP page of our website. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us! Please be responsible and plan transportation accourdingly.
What will the weather be like?
We know that many of our friends are coming from out of state. Please keep an eye on the weather leading up to the event. October in the midwest may be very warm still or get very cold. Consider bringing a sweater or jacket for the evening when it may get chilly.
