Wait, did I miss something?
No! This is a surprise to everyone. Our Save the Date is asking people to save the date of our celebration and announcing we're already married. Enjoy!
If you eloped, why the second ceremony?
Our elopement marks the day we were legally married in the State of New Jersey. We want to have a ceremony in the Catholic church and time to celebrate with our family and friends.
If you're having two ceremonies, which will be your anniversary?
We plan to celebrate our wedding anniversary on the date we were legally married in the State of New Jersey (May 17th 2025).
I have never been to a wedding luncheon, what should I expect?
Neither have we! But we wanted to do something that felt out of the ordinary and true to us. You should expect a lot of what you might expect at a typical wedding. We're having a Catholic ceremony followed by food and drinks. We want to focus on spending time with friends and family and being able to get to bed at a normal hour.
Are children invited to the wedding?
If you would like to bring your children - please feel welcome to do so! This will be a child friendly wedding. Simply let us know you would like them to come. If you would prefer to come child free, you're welcome to do that, too.
What attire should I wear?
We would say wear what you might wear to Sunday brunch - casual yet stylish. We are planning to take photos with family and friends to remember the day! So plan to feel good and look good.
Are the church and reception venue handicap accessible?
Both the church and reception venue are handicap accessible. For the reception, there is a ramp to the main entrance of Adelphia, where you will be directed to the banquet area and elevator to the room. Once you are in the banquet room for the reception, the bathrooms are right outside the main entrance to the room. If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility, please contact us. We do plan to provide ample photos and information ahead of the ceremony for family and friends with mobility issues.
