They started as friends at Pizza Hut, where Lindsey worked and Colten showed up then transitioned into every weekend a couple years later like clockwork, Colten would wander into Boondocks, not just for the drinks, but to catch a glimpse of Lindsey reaching high for the Grey Goose—a small moment that somehow lingered in his heart.A couple years later they went for a motorcycle ride together in which Colten turned to Lindsey and said, “You’re the only girl who’s ever made my heart feel this way.” It was in that moment Lindsey knew she would give this guy a chance.From there, their journey unfolded with motorcycle trips through Door County, the Ozarks, Indiana, countless memorial rides, and many adventures around the TriCounty area.They built a life full of joy, welcoming Goose and Duck Duck—two mischievous dogs who quickly claimed the bed and their hearts. Two degrees later, Lindsey graduated, with Colten cheering her on every step of the way. After moving through many rentals and viewing potential homes, they finally bought their first home—a place filled with laughter, dog toys, and the life they’ve built together.They celebrated love, danced under concert lights, and shared countless happy moments.Then came the day that changed everything. What Lindsey thought would be simple family photos turned into the most unforgettable moment. Colten got down on one knee—but didn’t say a word. He just stared at her. Lindsey broke the silence: “Aren’t you going to ask me something?” He smiled and said, “Isn’t it obvious?” She laughed, demanded he ask, and finally, with trembling hands, he asked her to marry him.
