Unfortunately, we weren't able to secure hotel blocks due to the small supply of hotels and the high demand of the fruit loop season. As such, we highly recommend booking Air BnBs or VRBOs in Hood River, OR. These could go quickly so please book ASAP!

Yes! Due to the time restrictions of the venue, we will have an after-party in Hood River so we ask that those who wish to celebrate long into the night (aka past 8:30 pm) find somewhere in Hood River or White Salmon. Please avoid places like Mosier, Timberline Lodge or Government Camp unless you would like to drive up to an hour to/from the venue. Great question! Back in 2022 during Connie's first travel nursing contract at OSHU, John would make up any excuse he could wrangle up to spend time down in Portland that summer. One weekend they decided to go for a nice day trip to enjoy the sun and explore Hood River. Connie took John to Solera Brewery which had beautiful views of Mt. Hood and they rubbed elbows with some nice locals. After some friendly conversation, the locals recommended they check out Grateful Vinyards because "The wine was fine but the beer was great." So they made the few-minute drive down the road and fell in love with the location. The views and delicious pilsners were a mid-summer dream and after a few pints, they vowed to get married there if they ever had the chance... Cut to April 2024 after a long birthday celebration where visiting family dropped not-so-subtle hints, the couple inquired about the Grateful Vinyard venue to find out their dream venue had one last Saturday left for the year and they felt that this was meant to be!
