This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

For those day adventurers, this quick waterfall hike is just south of the venue by 15 min and 30 min from Hood River. Check out this 3.4-mile out-and-back trail near Mount Hood Parkdale, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 35 min to complete.

We get it, John & Connie, you like to hike but where can we see the whole area without breaking a sweat? This is an amazing vantage point accessible via a quick drive with views of the Gorge in all its fall glory!

Fun fact, that was how the couple learned about their dream venue. Over a few pints one summer day in 2022, they met some locals who mentioned Grateful Vineyards as a must-visit next stop on a sunny Saturday in July. Next thing you know, they fell in love with the mountain view and decided it was "the venue".
