Lindy and Ravenna go way back - having been each other's first roommate from the ages of 5 (Ravenna) and 1 (Lindy), (rent isn't what it used to be, lemme tell ya). They grew up together, in every sense of the phrase. Growing up, Lindy and Ravenna bonded the most over Walgreens runs, movie nights, and painting elaborate nail designs together after school. Now, they partake in older and more mature activities like Walgreens runs, movie nights and painting elaborate nail designs together.

Jonny and Connor met while studying in Oxford (*cough cough* Brookes).&nbsp;Connor had just gotten in from his flight and coach from London to Oxford and moved his bags to his room.&nbsp;He had heard noise from the flat's kitchen and timidly went to introduce himself.&nbsp;Upon entering the kitchen, he freaked himself out and immediately went "Hi, I'm Connor" really quickly and then left, which sparked everyone in the flat to think he was Irish.&nbsp;Jonny and Connor got to know each other more, and Jonny invited Connor to watch the Rugby where Jonny introduced Connor to a taste of his birth town - Thatcher's Cider.&nbsp;Connor and Jonny would go on to form a strong friendship going on adventures, learning wall morse code, and doing almost everything together.&nbsp;Jonny gave Connor the privilege of a lifetime by asking him to be his co-best man at his wedding in 2018.

Jane and Ravenna met in middle school Latin class, where they bonded over their love of a lesser known, kind of up- and-coming boyband called One Direction (I know that you're thinking - very alternative of them). They remained close throughout high school, college, and beyond - playing Just Dance on Wii, going to concerts, and exploring fun restaurants around the Cincinnati and now Columbus tri-state areas. They're both looking forward to their next One Direction concert, seeing as they never officially broke up as a band.

Jane Oetgen - Bridesmaid

Daniel is Connor's oldest friend having become friends since they were 6. Daniel lived down the street from Connor and were connected at the hip for pretty much their entire childhood. Connor and Daniel grew up dueling Yu-Gi-Oh, exploring in the woods, working at the local pool together, and hanging out as much as possible with Kenny as well. Daniel has always been a strong voice of reason for Connor, and has always provided the most support. Even though he has moved to Florida, Daniel, Kenny, and Connor keep a strong friendship gaming weekly over video chat.

Daniel Bagley - Groomsman

Maddie and Ravenna also met in middle school Latin, and became quick friends (proving that something rewarding can in fact come from a dead language). In high school, they took Latin, photography classes (1, 2 and AP), and ran cross country together - laughing and joking around through it all. These days, Maddie's still an avid runner, although they both Marathon! (Maddie - The Flying Pig, Ravenna - The Spider-Man Series). In their free time (then and now) they love to frequent the local restaurants and ice cream shops of Anderson Township.

Kenny and Connor met in an unconventional manner. Kenny and Connor shared the same 6th grade gym class. Connor was on the opposing side of the dodgeball arena when all of a sudden a ball came hurling towards Connor and hit him in an area that took his breath away. Kenny proceeded to approach Connor when a hand out to help him up and asked to be friends. Connor and Kenny were inseparable throughout Middle and High school playing soccer, video games, and going to concerts together. Between 2 AM Steak 'n Shake trips in the Summer of '13 and the countless nights of poker, movies, and Rock Band with Daniel as well, Connor and Kenny have cemented a life long friendship.

Kenny Smith - Groomsman

Annie and Ravenna's friendship began in Mrs. Wilhelm's 3rd grade class, when they were among the few in their classroom's single file line to keep up with their high-heeled, marathon-running teacher as she sing-songed "Briskly, children. Briskly!" through the halls of Summit Elementary. (Of note: the aforementioned teacher would be very disappointed with the previous run-on sentence. Two words: Girl. Boss.) From that point on, Annie and Ravenna could nearly always be found together - either choreographing dances with other friends at recess and showcasing them to captive audiences of the teaching staff, or daring each other to do elaborate dives off the high-dive at their local swim club in the summer. Their friendship has grown alongside them through the many seasons to follow - but they are still most likely to make each other laugh at the most inappropriate of times (think the Chuckles the Clown episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show).

Annie Berno - Bridesmaid 

Chris and Connor were suitemates at the University of Kentucky which is where this friendship began. Both were Global Scholars in the business school and had Chinese roommates. Chris and Connor saw almost every Marvel film together, went to UK basketball games together, and almost lost their friendship over their FIFA win tally they kept during video game competitions and Max and Erma cookie eating sessions. One of the funniest memories is when they were shooting guns at Chris's family's house and Connor wasn't accounting for the amount of kick from the gun and popped his head open with the scope of the rifle. Chris laughed at Connor and then did the exact same thing.

We only have a number of reserved rooms the night before, of, and after the wedding outlined below under Cabra's information. These room reservations are on a first come first serve basis, so for those who cannot book at Cabra or would prefer to stay elsewhere we have provided a few links recommended by the Castle.

Cabra Castle is the venue in which Connor and Ravenna will be getting married. The Castle also has a number of rooms which can be rented. The night before and after the wedding there is a reserved 10 rooms for guests, while the night of the wedding there are 40 rooms reserved for guests. Please note that these rooms are on first come first serve and the code and directions to book at the Castle are enclosed in the wedding invites you received.

Lodging

Cabra Castle is located in County Cavan, an hour’s drive from Dublin and just 90 minutes from Belfast. You can fly into either Dublin Airport or Belfast Airport. A few recommendations on travel and itineraries can be found below. Please note that we are polling for interest in a bus service on September 19 and 20 via invitations and if there is enough interest then we will book and let individuals know about the bus services.

Airport Recommendations

From Dublin: There are quite a few options. The fastest and cheapest way to travel is via a train and bus combo. Train can be taken from Dublin Connolly to Dundalk (Clarke) where you can then get off and take the bus service from Clarke Station to Kingscourt. From Belfast: The route from Belfast to Kingscourt is very similar to Dublin - the train will take you from Belfast to Dundalk (Clarke) where the bus can then be taken from Clarke Station to Kingscourt.
