How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP online via this website.

How will we indicate meal preferences?

Connor and Ravenna are still undergoing the process of selecting the menus and a few additional details. They will be attending an onsite in early 2025 to nail everything down. For those who RSVP, Connor and Ravenna will reach out to get meal preferences and let everyone know times at least 3 months in advance of the wedding.

Where can I find wedding updates?

The wedding website will be updated regularly. However, Connor and Ravenna will be sending updates via email and text for times, menu options, etc.

Do I need a passport?

YES! If you are any nationality outside of an EU citizen (sorry to my Brits #Brexit), you will need a passport to travel to Ireland. Please note for most Americans, a visa is not required. We recommend applying for your passport 6 months in advance of your flight. If you are connecting to other destinations (you can get flights in Europe for as little as $50) please check your destination requirements on if you will need a visa.

Will the ceremony and reception be in different locations?

No! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Cabra Castle. We intend to host the Rehearsal Dinner, and the Brunch at Cabra as well. The ceremony will be held at the Granary on the Castle grounds, while the reception will be in the Banquet Hall of the Castle.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

September is a pretty volatile time in terms of weather in Ireland - but it should be pretty lush in terms of temperature. The ceremony will be inside, while the pre-drinks and post-reception will allow you to walk the grounds or be on the patio if desired. Dinner for the reception will be indoor only.

Are kids invited?

Kids are welcome! We have provided the total number of seats reserved for your party in the invites. You should also be able to see the full party while going about the RSVP on the website.

Will there be an open bar?

Abso-fricken-lutely! We have invested a dollar amount into a bar that will be open after the reception dinner (please note we have an open bar to a certain dollar amount, then it will be a cash bar). Drinks will be available for guests upon arrival prior to the ceremony, and drinks will be included with dinner as well. Turn up! Cheers! Sláinte! But also please drink responsibly!

Directions, Transportation, and Accommodations

We understand a destination wedding is a large ask; with that we are trying to mitigate as much of the work on your side as we can. We have provided as much insight as we can here, on our website, and on our invites for your convenience. Unfortunately, there are only 40 rooms available at Cabra the night of our wedding, but we have provided links to some recommended accommodations nearby. We are also taking a poll on interest for transportation from the airport. Please be sure to fill in everything on RSVPs - be that via mail or online.

Will there be a shuttle service?

There will not be a shuttle service to and from the Castle. Taxis and Ubers can be hailed for those who are not staying at the castle. Alternatively, there is parking at the Castle for those who choose to rent a car.

Will Connor and Ravenna cover flights or rooms?

Unfortunately, it is not within the budget for us to cover your room or flight (or additional travel plans). With that being said, we are trying to simplify the process by holding a certain number of rooms at a discounted rate at Cabra (first come first serve), and provide a bus charter option (if desired). All we could ask for is your presence at our wedding, which is why we have foregone the registry as well - it is going to be a pretty untraditional, traditional-esque wedding.

Where should we bring registry gifts?

We are not asking for any gifts! We simply just want your company at our wedding. In lieu of any gifts, we are requesting any inclined parties to contribute to a honeymoon fund (although - and we cannot emphasize this enough- please don't feel obligated). Given that this is an international wedding, with a couple stops for us afterwards, transport of any physical gifts will be difficult to manage.
