Corbin and Zuleyma met at their mutual friend Bianca's birthday brunch in late 2018. In true matchmaking form, Bianca talked up each other's qualities over the next several days and three weeks later the two had their first date at Blue Genie Art Bazaar and the Brewtorium in Austin, TX. After 15+ months of commuting between Austin and New Braunfels, Corbin and Zuleyma chose to move in together in March 2020, a completely unnotable and otherwise unremarkable time...

So ensued years of trips, trying times, and celebrations. Highlights of these include:

- Traveling to Montreal for a Bad Bunny concert during their collective unemployment in March 2022

- Chanting and cheering during every Austin FC match over the past five seasons

- Weathering every Texas snowstorm

- Trading an office job to join a Farmer Starter program

- Touring Spain and France en route to an Italian wedding

- Adopting their FELV+ cat, Oyster

- Buying a house 6 months before their wedding day

- Traveling to three Latin American countries in 2025

After sharing so many special moments, Corbin and Zuleyma got engaged in Rome, Italy in August 2023. With much forethought, Corbin surprised Zuleyma with a photographer to capture their special moment and booked reservations at not one but two Michelin star restaurants to celebrate their new chapter together.

The two have relished their time planning this joyous occasion and look forward to celebrating with friends and family at the Allan House in Austin.
