Do I really have to RSVP?
Yes! Letting us know whether or not you're attending will help us in our ongoing planning for rentals, meal preferences, dietary restrictions, and other details necessary to ensure our perfect day goes smoothly. Please RSVP.
What date should I RSVP by?
We request that all guests notate whether they will attend or decline under our RSVP tab by no later than August 22nd.
Will there be a rehearsal dinner?
We will be hosting a casual Welcome Party the night before our wedding (10/24/25) at Moontower Cider from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. Please join us for light bites, drinks, and mingling. Little ones are welcome.
Where is the Welcome Party?
Moontower Cider Co. - 1916 Tillery St., Austin, TX 78723
Where should I stay?
The Allan House is situated in Downtown Austin, making it convenient for our guests to select from a wide range of hotels, AirBnBs, Third Homes, etc., depending on preferences and budgets.
Where can I park?
Because we did not book hotel rooms, shuttles to and from the venue will not be provided. There is a lot located next door to the venue at 505 W. 12th Street with 50 parking spots, and metered parking spots in the area that are free after 6:00 p.m., and all day on Sunday. Due to limited parking at The Allan House, we strongly recommend ridesharing to avoid any issues or delays. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the festivities and get home safely at the end of the night. Please be safe, don't drink and drive.
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm. Please join us for welcome drinks starting at 4:30pm.
What is the wedding day itinerary?
The ceremony will begin at 5pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap at 11pm.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and reception will be held in the Allan House courtyard, with cocktail hour indoors and on the porch.
Can I take photos / video during the ceremony?
We want to see your faces, not your devices! We invite guests to be fully present during our ceremony, therefore we ask that all phones and cameras are put away during this time.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be two open bars for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
Can i bring a plus one?
We would love to accommodate additional guests, however, only guests listed on the RSVP tab will be allowed to join in the celebrations.
What should I wear?
We want everyone to look and feel their best! Our Fall wedding calls for hues of earth tones such as brown, terracotta, burnt orange, rust gold, yellow, marigold, navy blue, sky blue, mauve, and maroon. Champagne hues are reserved for family members or wedding party members. When in doubt, reference our website color scheme.
Guests have more flexibility with hemlines, colors and patterns, although long hemlines are preferred. A jacket and tie with a dress shirt and dress pants is a no-fail choice.
Please be sure not to dress too casually, as you will be ~immortalized~ in our wedding photos!
Is it OK to post photos on social media?
Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media until the following day.
Where are you registered for wedding gifts?
If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have created a registry with Target and TheKnot.com. Additionally, we have established a honeymoon fund to enjoy our time away. If you choose to send a gift, please leave a guest note with your name so we can say Thank You! All details can be found under the Registry tab. We will also have a wedding card box at our reception.
I have more questions about your wedding. Who should I contact?
Kindly contact the bride and groom during the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Please note we may be unavailable to answer any questions the weekend-of.
