Emma (Alex) Jordan - Maid of Honor
Emma, my middle sister, has so kindly taken on the demanding task of being my maid of honor. It's been a blessing growing up so close to this talented artist/fashion designer/independent woman. Being so close in age, we grew up sharing a bunk bed, screaming at each over "stealing" clothes, and already checked marked a raucous London trip off our bucket list (two guesses who the wild one on that trip was). There's no one I would rather have up there beside me.
Nick Tennies - Best Man
I wouldn't have anyone else stand by me on my big day. My brother and I have taken much different directions in life but one thing I can always count on is us being there for each other when we need it most. I look up to him and can't put into words how much I respect him and his service and dedication to our country. He is currently in the Airforce, providing support in Korea and is currently based in Misawa Japan. He will be flying in with his wife Hollee for the wedding.
Jason Aragon - Groomsman
Jason and I have been best friends since elementary school when we used to race to the basketball court to try and make the first shot to claim the court. He is one of the kindest and good spirited friends that I have. Whenever either of us need someone to talk to, I know I can count on Jason to answer the call (I only answer when I'm awake since I go to bed at 8:30PM).
Stephanie Jordan - Maid of Honor
Stephanie, my youngest sister, and Chinese food, country music, Free People, Vampire Dairies loving partner, is my other maid of honor. She is by far one of the most sweetest women you'll ever meet (but don't let her sweet nature fool you, cause she's quite clever). I've been so blessed to watch her grow up, from a quiet young girl, to a clever, talented young adult. She left us for the University of Alabama and claims to be staying there forever (gosh I hope not), and is doing amazing.
Tommy Brady - Groomsman
Thomas Brady the 3rd, also known as "Tom Brady" by most ever since the Patriots QB became a thing. Tommy has been my best friend since elementary school. I remember the day I asked if I could be his friend and we were getting into trouble ever since. Tommy and I would hang out all the time growing up. As kids, we would would blast Slipknot, Pantera, Metallica, Lamb of God and other loud metal music while jumping around the couches with our wooden battle axes acting like they were guitars. In middle school, we would Toilette paper girls houses and in high school we were playing video games. His family now runs a successful cookie shoppe in Downtown Riverside.
Paige Rice - Bridesmaid
Paige has been my friend since high school. We've traveled the world together (along with Hanna and Lisa), and lived in San Francisco at the same time. Paige is an extremely smart and talented individual having already received her masters at University of Amsterdam in International Development. She also sings like an angel - my favorite memory is a show she played in the front lawn near Del Playa during her UCSB days – she wore a very attractive top, her hair was pink/red, and her voice sounded like Mariah Carey (can you tell I have crush – sorry Matt). She consoles me through the tough times, laughs during the best, and always offers amazing advice. I'm so happy to have her in my life and with me on my big day!
Dario Amici - Groomsman
I remember officially meeting Dario in high school. Before that I only knew him ask the kid with long hair who played soccer that was a year younger than me. Dario is one of the kindest and most personable people you will ever meet. During high school, we would meet up after school to go play soccer or he would cook some amazing food by raiding his parents cabinet. Whenever I was under a lot of stress or having a bad day, I can remember Dario noticing and doing whatever he could to make me forget about the bad and focus on the good.
Sara Berkowitz - Bridesmaid
Extremely creative and full of love, Sara has been my friend since high school. She’s my In-N-Out, TV-watching, all things interior design partner-in-crime. We lived together during college and kept the tidiest college house anyone has ever seen (probably to a fault). She opened my eyes to a whole new world of interior design; anyone who knows how particular I am about how my house looks can blame Sara :)! She also witnessed mine and Matt's relationship blossom – considering Matt spent quite some time eating the dinners Sara cooked for a family of 10. Both Matt and I love Sara!
John Flynn - Groomsman
I remember fist meeting john aka "Flynnzo" while playing Call of Duty 4. We were both so addicted that eventually one day one of us asked if we wanted to hang out and from there we became best friends. Everyday after high school, his mom would pay us hourly to do household chores and after working, you could find us playing Fifa. Throughout high school and college, whenever we would meet someone new they thought that John and I were brothers because we hung out so much and had such big heads. We don't get to hangout as much anymore, but anytime we are in the same room, you'll be sure to hear us laughing at our own jokes.
Hanna Dijkstra - Bridesmaid
One might say we were the outcasts when we both moved to Danville halfway through middle school - and instantly became best friends! In high school, we spent hours at Hanna's house wondering when our next crush would text us, driving her mom nuts, and running around downtown Danville laughing our heads off. Recently, Matt and I visited Hanna in Amsterdam (where she's receiving her PhD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) for King’s Day. I was immediately met with her big bright smile, kind spirit, and party-all-night ways. If only she would move back to the states! I can't say enough about how Hanna is the kindest, funniest friend a girl could ever have.
Lisa Judd - Bridesmaid
Friends since middle school, Lisa is one of the most adventurist people I’ve ever met. She’s constantly off rafting, hiking, or doing some other outdoors-y thing (she just got back from living in Australia!). Lisa is extremely talkative and never fails to tell a funny story. In high school, we spent our summers walking our dogs along Greenbrook's trails while talking for hours; tanning at our community pools while talking for hours; and hanging at each others house doing what every other teen at the time was doing… browsing our classmates Facebook pages while "talking" for hours. There's not one thing Lisa and I haven’t talked about in our 14+ years of friendship, and I’m so happy to have her support me on my big day!
Taylor James - Groomsman
Taylor was the first roommate I ever had and was the first person I met in college. Right off the bat, Taylor and I had one main thing in common. We were ready to party. Through the late nights and late mornings at the dining center, we became best friends. I wasn't someone who enjoyed having roommates very much, but Taylor and I got along just fine. We both put school first, enjoyed a clean space and found time to drink from time to time. Taylor eventually transferred to further his studies at UC Berkeley and graduated with a degree in Economics. Although we're both busy getting our lives off the ground, we always find time to catch up and it's like we're back in college.
Maya Oceguera - Flower Girl
Maya, my two year old second-cousin, will help prepare the isle with beautiful flower petals.
Humphrey Jordan (soon to be Tennies) - Ring Bearer
Humphrey, our fur baby, howled when we asked him to be our ring bearer. We took that as a yes! There's not one day that goes by without us mentioning this precious lil' pup to our family, friends, and colleagues. Since this is such a big task for such a small baby, Corina's cousin, Diego, has graciously agreed to watch over him during the ceremony.
Darcy & Leah Hulme - Flower Girls
Darcy: My fiery red-headed two year old cousin, and a darling older sister, is also going to help prep the aisle!
Leah: I witnessed this sweet little girl take her first step at the historic German beer hall Schroeder's, last year. Now she's ready to walk down the aisle!
