Mac and I met back at Concordia…. September of 2020 My freshman year, I was living off campus in a house with 9 bedrooms + 8 roommates. One of my first weekends at the house, we all decided to throw a darty in our backyard. At some point through the day, This giant Mexican man with overall shorts on, stumbles over in his size 13 cowboy boots. Steals my cowgirl hat, puts it on. Plumps his big ole self next to me, and immediately had me laughing. At some point we separated and I said to my roommates I wanted his number and come to find out they all were his football teammates! They all thought it was the funniest thing, that I wanted his number and I remember not thinking it was funny at all - I now know exactly why they were laughing, as do most of you! Anyone who knows Cormac has the absolute luxury of knowing that he truly is the funniest person I have ever met. Not to mention Cormac has quite literally the most contagious genuine laugh you will ever come across. 🤎


Cormac asked me out on our first date to Sidetracks in Ypsilanti, Michigan - Where, from the get go, We’re able to be absolute goofballs with each other and have been inseparable since! We both knew pretty early on that we had found our forever person in each other. God truly could not have curated a better partner for either of us and we thank him daily for bringing us together so young. Mac, I am SO unbelievably excited we get to share our lives together!!!!

The first time I saw Heidi, my socks were knocked off.

I was drinking with my buddies in there backyard and I saw a cowgirl hat that I just had to steal. So I marched over and snatched it off and put in on my noggin and sat next to this beautiful blonde named Heidi. To my surprise she loved my big brown self so I was in luck! She was a big jokester and had me cackling, Of course, not as much as I had her laughing! I was mainly shocked there could be a human this genuine and loving. Heidi, you continue to make me feel so loved and fulfilled every day. I'm so thankful God brought us together and I can't wait to grow old with you!
