Correen’s roots have always been in Buffalo, NY, while Tyler grew up under the California sun in Palmdale. Though they were from opposite sides of the country, their paths crossed in Los Angeles during the pandemic at a cozy neighborhood spot in Burbank — Champs Sports Pub — where Correen happened to be bartending that night. Tyler couldn’t help but notice her and asked his friend, “What’s her deal… is she single?” From that moment, he knew he had to pursue her.

Their first date was the beginning of something special. Correen planned what she thought would be the perfect evening— starting with drinks and darts, followed by mini golf (since she knew golf was Tyler’s thing). But when the course was backed up for hours, Tyler came up with an even better idea. They ended up go-kart racing, laughing until their cheeks hurt, with a spontaneous stop for Micheladas along the way. What started as a simple date turned into an unforgettable adventure — one that set the tone for their relationship.

From there, life together unfolded naturally. They shared countless memories, became dog parents to their sweet girl, Dixie, and soon realized that home was wherever they were together. Eventually, they packed up their lives in California and made the 3,000-mile journey to Buffalo to start their next chapter. Together, they built new careers, bought a home — with the Buffalo Bills’ new stadium practically in their backyard — and created a life filled with love, laughter, and dreams of the future.

Then, on a magical trip to Switzerland, Tyler gave Correen the surprise of a lifetime. At the breathtaking Waldhaus Flims, he asked her to spend forever with him. It was a proposal straight out of a fairytale, marking the beginning of their forever story.

Now, they can’t wait to bring all of their closest family and friends together in a place so close to Correen’s heart — her parents’ backyard — to celebrate the love that began in California, grew across 3,000 miles, and will last a lifetime.
