How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
CARM is a shuttle service that we’ve coordinated with to get you from the airport to the ferry dock. Once you have booked your flight, please email them your flight details so they can track your flight and be there at the correct time to pick you up. They can even help you book your ferry to the island or you can buy your ferry ticket once you’ve been dropped off at the ferry dock. Please look under “Travel Details & How to Book” for contact information.

What’s the best way to pay for things on the island?
While many restaurants and bars accept credit cards, cash is king on the island—especially for taxis, small shops, and beachy clubs. Here’s your best options for handling currency:
Credit/Debit Cards: Most major spots accept cards and typically will do the conversion rate currently offered at your bank which is usually a fair rate.
Cash (USD): Many places accept US Dollars, but bea ware they often use a “house” exchange rate that is much higher than the official one. You will likely spend more money if you pay in USD.
Cash (Pesos): The most cost-effective way to pay. We recommend two ways to get them.
One option is to get them at home. Go to your local bank before you leave and requests Pesos.
Option two is to get them on the island. There are several currency exchange machines but each one has different conversion rates so shop around!
