Isla Mujeres has a great bar and food scene with one of the main areas being Avenida Hildago, a pedestrian street in El Centro. It's not only a spot for foodies, you'll also find a number of shops and likely hear live music!

Kin-ha — our favorite beach club restaurant and a must-visit! Great place to spend the day eating, swimming, drinking, snorkeling, and swinging off the dock into the water!

Mayakita—if you’re looking for breakfast/lunch with a view, Mayakita offers a serene dining experience with panoramic ocean views.


Cafe Mogagua—a casual beloved café nestled downtown, just off the Main Street. The café offers a diverse menu including breakfast burritos, omelets, tacos, coffee, smoothies, bagels, etc!


Mango’s—a vibrant two-story building adorned with colorful Caribbean-inspired decor, the café offers breakfast and lunch. Signature dishes included famed coconut French toast and the famous poblano stuffed pepper.


Lacandona Coffee Bus—a must visit! A charming mobile café out of an adorable vintage bus in a tranquil garden and has amazing coffee!


Rancho Capricho—one of our favorite spots for tacos! Not only is the food amazing but the eatery also provides a rustic and authentic dining experience, complete with a working ranch and friendly animals like horses and chickens.


Lola Valentina—a vibrant and eclectic restaurant located on Avenida Hidalgo known for its Mexican-Caribbean fusion cuisine.


Sonny’s Pizza—a beloved pizzeria located in the heart of downtown Isla offering inventive and delicious pizza options! Highly recommend the lobster pizza!


Oscars—an island legend! Amazing pizza with a laid back vibe.


Rosa Sirena—a hidden gem offering an amazing rooftop palapa bar. An intimate dining experience combining exceptional cuisine with breathtaking views and live music.


Ocean’s—a vibrant restaurant on the island’s bustling main strip known for its fresh seafood with a Mexican twist. If you like ceviche, this is the place for you!


Fish & Gin—“coastal cool” restaurant located downtown specializing in seafood fusion. Beautifully plated dishes and fresh ingredients.


Mar-Bella Fish Market—upscale seafood destination on the beach famous for its incredible sunset views over the water. Also a beautiful spot to stop for a drink!

El Patio—the islands premier destination for live music lovers, located on the popular Avenida Hidalgo.
