What began as pure chance—a serendipitous encounter at the end of an evening with friends—has grown into a journey filled with laughter, adventure, shared memories, unwavering support, and a love that has only deepened with time. That journey brings us to this moment: a celebration of a love story we cherish. And we’re grateful to share it with you.On a perfect August night, Cortnie was leaving Brits with an intern when a sharply dressed man in a black three-piece suit and pink tie walked by. She remarked on how handsome he was, not knowing he’d step onto the patio at The Local just moments later.Scott had just finished dinner with friends and decided to skip dueling pianos in favor of a quiet stop at his office and then a beer and some music at The Local before heading home.When Cortnie saw the same dapper stranger sit alone on the packed patio, excitement—and a few butterflies—set in. There was one open seat at her table. After checking with her intern, she gathered her courage, tapped him on the shoulder, and invited him to join them.The evening unfolded effortlessly. As the night came to a close, Scott handed Cortnie his business card and suggested they meet for happy hour soon. And just like that, twelve years have gone by in a blink!We have had so much fun, faced many challenges, and have created a life filled with friendship, support, and love! We cannot wait to share this next chapter with all of you—our beloved family and friends. The luck that brought us together that night has only grown stronger through the bonds we share with each of you. Thank you for being part of our story. The hotel is 5 blocks from the Metrodome Stadium (Twins &amp; Vikings), and the Minneapolis Convention Center. The property offers flat-screen TVs, and coffee machines in each of the rooms.
