Minneapolis in Winter?

March in Minneapolis could be unpredictable with either feet of snow or a perfect summer day! Keep your eyes on the forecast and pack appropriately.

What to Wear?

Feel free to play up on our elevated St. Patrick's Day theme, or come in gowns and glam! We just want you to be comfortable and ready to party! The wedding party and special couple will be in formal attire.

Art and Culture

The Walker Art Museum is a short uber or decent walk away with a free sculpture garden you can stroll through! The Minneapolis Institute of Art is also a short uber away and is free every day, especially nice if it's chilly! The Guthrie Theatre is also nearby where you can grab some dinner and a play.

Home of Prince, Music you say?

The Armory is an excellent venue within a few blocks of the hotels if there is someone in town while you're here you want to see! The legendary First Ave is worth a walk around, if not a show, to see the stars of some great acts that have come through. The Minnesota Orchestra Hall and Dakota Jazz club are also walking distance and have excellent performances.

Parks Galore!

We are lucky to live so close to one of the most iconic locations on the Mississippi River, the Stone Arch Bridge. A converted railway track that crosses the Mississippi, provides incredible views of the Minneapolis skyline, and you can see one of the operating locks on the river. It is definitely worth grabbing a coffee and bundling up to see this and is only a half mile walk from the hotels. If time permits, it is worth getting to Minnehaha Park to see a rare urban waterfall!

Capture some History!

Take a tour of the Mill City Flour Museum, also overlooking the Mississippi River, or immerse yourself in Viking culture with a tour around the Vikings Stadium (warning, it can be a very sad place). Both are within blocks of the hotels.
