Glacier National Park Going-to-the-Sun Road

Glacier National Park is roughly 90 miles north of Condon. You need a vehicle reservation to enter the west entrance of the park (closest entrance) from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. to drive Going-to-the-Sun road. These are available as early as 4 months in advance but you can try to purchase a next-day pass at 7 p.m. the night prior. Recommended Hikes: Avalanche Lake (~6 miles total) and Iceberg Lake (~10 miles total)

Holland Falls Hike

Difficulty: Easy. 3.3 miles roundtrip well-traveled path from Holland Lake to the falls. Highly recommend this hike as it only takes about 1.5-2 hours roundtrip. It's 1 mile north of Lindbergh Lake turn off and a few miles south of Condon.

Garnet Ghost Town

Located about an hour east of Missoula on your way to Condon. If you're a history buff and are flying into Missoula, this may be worth a stop on the way to your lodging! It's a well preserved, old gold mining town from the late 1800s and named one of America's coolest ghost towns by Travel + Leisure.

Huckleberry Picking

Wild huckleberries only grow in Idaho, Montana, Canada and Alaska. They are visually similar to a blueberry but purple and sweeter! The less ripe berries are red.
