Our Wedding

Courtlyn grew up in Augusta, Georgia, while Brandon was raised in Manassas, Virginia—500 miles apart until fate brought them together at work. Brandon moved to Augusta for his orthopedic surgery residency, and during a rotation in the burn intensive care unit, he met Courtlyn, a burn nurse. When he got lost one day at work, Courtlyn was there to help him find his way, and soon, they became inseparable. Their relationship blossomed amidst coffee and lunch breaks at the hospital, where they discovered their shared love for travel. They embarked on adventures from Charleston to Mexico, creating cherished memories along the way. After a year of dating, Brandon proposed to Courtlyn during a skiing trip with her family in Banner Elk, North Carolina. Now, with so many exciting plans for the future, they can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for them. Their journey together is just beginning, and it promises to be filled with love and adventure!

Edward Transportation is a private chauffeur service that will take you to and from Jekyll Island Club Resort and the airport! The closest airports to our venue are Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and Jacksonville International Airport. Uber, Lyft and rental cars are also always an option! ￼

Brandon &amp; Courtlyn really enjoyed riding bikes around Jekyll together! The entire island is beautiful with lots to experience and explore. The couple recommends calling Jekyll Wheels ahead of time to reserve your bikes for the weekend!

Jekyll Island Club Resort is rich in history with many different ways of exploring how this resort began. The resort offers self-guided, trolley or horse and carriage tours! Jekyll Island History Tours

Relax before or after wedding festivities at Spa Cabana located at Jekyll Island Ocean Club property! Just a short, free shuttle ride for hotel guests to the resort's ocean front property!

The resort has two pools on property, The Island Club Pool and The Ocean Front Pool. Both pools are available for guests to enjoy. A free shuttle is available for hotel guests to take to the beach and runs daily on both properties.

We would love to see our guests get dressed up for our special day! Feel free to embrace the beautiful colors of summertime in the low country. Wedding party will be wearing tuxedos and blue bridesmaid dresses. Please refrain from wearing whites, creams or ivory as those colors are reserved for the bride. Below are inspiration photos!
