Things To Do Near The Oaklander:

-Phipps Botanical Gardens: A beautiful indoor/outdoor exhibit featuring floral displays from around the globe. It was part of Courtney and Josh's first date!

-Carnegie Museum: Art and history all in one place! One of our favorite museums in the city with hours worth of exhibits.

-Schenley Park: If you're looking for a good walk or place to adventure Schenley is right across the street! A perfect place to look at all of the fall trees.

-Nationality Rooms: If you're looking for a world tour, head over to Pitt's campus to see rooms inspired from multiple countries.

Favorite Coffee Shops:

-Klvn: Our favorite coffee shop in the city! Just a short drive from the hotel.

-Tazza D'Oro: Located on the ground floor of the hotel!

-Soluna: Dog friendly and right at the start of the Strip District. The Lumberjack latte is a personal favorite.

-Allegheny Coffee and Tea: Another Strip District favorite with loads of flavor options and endless coffee beans if you're looking to take some home.

-Mediterra: While it is the furthest drive, Mediterra has loads of fun treats and amazing brunch options. They have three locations: Lawrenceville, Sewickley, and Mt. Lebanon.

Places To Go + Things To Do:

-The Strip District: One of our favorite neighborhoods in the city! It's always busy on a Sunday with vendors, great food, and a great view of the city.

-Art Homes in Troy Hill: Artists have taken over three homes in Troy Hill and turned them into permanent immersive art exhibits. The tours are free but you have to schedule them ahead of time!

-Randyland: Another free art spot in the city featuring an explosion of color across a lot in the North Side.

-Point State Park: If you want to see where all three rivers meet - The Point is the place for you! Another great spot to see the foliage in the city.
