Our Wedding

I&nbsp;can&nbsp;still&nbsp;remember&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;we&nbsp;met&nbsp;like&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;yesterday.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;April&nbsp;3,2021&nbsp;in&nbsp;Sherwood&nbsp;Arkansas.&nbsp;A&nbsp;friend&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;were&nbsp;taking&nbsp;a&nbsp;concealed&nbsp;carry&nbsp;class&nbsp;at&nbsp;Arkansas&nbsp;Armory.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;front&nbsp;row&nbsp;right&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;door.&nbsp;I&nbsp;did&nbsp;not&nbsp;know&nbsp;what&nbsp;to&nbsp;expect&nbsp;that&nbsp;day,&nbsp;but&nbsp;little&nbsp;did&nbsp;I&nbsp;know,&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;the&nbsp;man&nbsp;that&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;spend&nbsp;the&nbsp;rest&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;life&nbsp;with.&nbsp;I&nbsp;remember&nbsp;when&nbsp;Justin&nbsp;walked&nbsp;in&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;saw&nbsp;him&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time.&nbsp;My&nbsp;heart&nbsp;skipped&nbsp;a&nbsp;beat&nbsp;and&nbsp;something&nbsp;inside&nbsp;me&nbsp;said&nbsp;"Oh,&nbsp;there&nbsp;you&nbsp;are!".&nbsp;Class&nbsp;was&nbsp;fun,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Justin&nbsp;is&nbsp;an&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;instructor.&nbsp;After&nbsp;I&nbsp;got&nbsp;home&nbsp;from&nbsp;class&nbsp;I&nbsp;"Facebook&nbsp;stalked"&nbsp;him,&nbsp;as&nbsp;he&nbsp;likes&nbsp;to&nbsp;say.&nbsp;I&nbsp;sent&nbsp;him&nbsp;a&nbsp;message&nbsp;on&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;thanking&nbsp;him&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;fun&nbsp;and&nbsp;informative&nbsp;class.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;downhill&nbsp;from&nbsp;there&nbsp;.&nbsp;We&nbsp;started&nbsp;talking&nbsp;everyday,&nbsp;getting&nbsp;to&nbsp;know&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;After&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;months&nbsp;we&nbsp;finally&nbsp;made&nbsp;plans&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;again&nbsp;in&nbsp;person.&nbsp;Months&nbsp;went&nbsp;by&nbsp;with&nbsp;us&nbsp;being&nbsp;together&nbsp;on&nbsp;our&nbsp;days&nbsp;off&nbsp;and&nbsp;weekends.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;an&nbsp;accident&nbsp;at&nbsp;work&nbsp;and&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;hospital.&nbsp;I&nbsp;could&nbsp;barely&nbsp;get&nbsp;the&nbsp;words&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;what&nbsp;happened,&nbsp;when&nbsp;Justin&nbsp;asked&nbsp;"which&nbsp;one"&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;to.&nbsp;This&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;man&nbsp;beat&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;there.&nbsp;He&nbsp;sat&nbsp;with&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;comforted&nbsp;me&nbsp;while&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;getting&nbsp;treated.&nbsp;That&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;I&nbsp;fell&nbsp;in&nbsp;love&nbsp;with&nbsp;him.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;by&nbsp;my&nbsp;side&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;healing&nbsp;process&nbsp;and&nbsp;would&nbsp;get&nbsp;on&nbsp;me&nbsp;about&nbsp;being&nbsp;a&nbsp;stubborn&nbsp;patient&nbsp;and&nbsp;doing&nbsp;things&nbsp;I&nbsp;shouldn't&nbsp;have.&nbsp;While&nbsp;recovering,&nbsp;I&nbsp;asked&nbsp;him&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;on&nbsp;an&nbsp;"adventure".&nbsp;You&nbsp;know,&nbsp;just&nbsp;drive&nbsp;and&nbsp;see&nbsp;what's&nbsp;out&nbsp;there.&nbsp;That&nbsp;sparked&nbsp;his&nbsp;new&nbsp;found&nbsp;love&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;outdoors.&nbsp;We&nbsp;finally&nbsp;made&nbsp;our&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;"Official"&nbsp;in&nbsp;August&nbsp;of&nbsp;2021.&nbsp;Since&nbsp;then&nbsp;we&nbsp;have&nbsp;both&nbsp;grown&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;careers,&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;person&nbsp;and&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple.&nbsp;We&nbsp;share&nbsp;a&nbsp;love&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;outdoors,&nbsp;with&nbsp;camping,&nbsp;hiking,&nbsp;kayaking&nbsp;and&nbsp;paddle&nbsp;board.&nbsp;We&nbsp;love&nbsp;our&nbsp;families&nbsp;and&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;immensely,&nbsp;and&nbsp;cherish&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;we&nbsp;spend&nbsp;with&nbsp;them.&nbsp;We&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;what&nbsp;the&nbsp;future&nbsp;holds&nbsp;for&nbsp;us,&nbsp;and&nbsp;no&nbsp;matter&nbsp;what,&nbsp;we&nbsp;know&nbsp;it&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;beautiful.
