It all started with a single swipe. When we matched on a dating app, it felt like fate was guiding us. Even though we’d set our search ranges close to home, somehow the app connected us across state lines. From the start, neither of us could deny an undeniable spark, and the surreal feeling that we had both met someone truly special. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, from our love of listening to our favorite band, Needtobreathe, to our similar upbringings, and our families trips to Door County, Wisconsin, we quickly realized we’d found something rare and real.



Life had other plans for a while, and we went our separate ways, but eventually, our paths crossed again—this time, at exactly the right moment. When we reconnected, it was like everything had finally fallen into place, and it seemed as if we had picked up right where we had left off several months ago. Over the following weeks, through many late night calls and FaceTime chats, our love took root and began to grow. We both knew this wasn’t just any typical type of love; it felt like something that was meant to be.



Thankfully, the distance between Missouri and Texas didn’t stop us. Week after week, we traveled back and forth, embracing every moment together. Each flight, each goodbye, and every call only deepened our bond, strengthening our love through patience, faith, and the belief that this was truly worth it. We cherished each visit, each small adventure, and every moment we could steal together. From fun-filled nights seeing amazing concerts or going to Cardinal games together, to even simple trips to Costco or Target, we used every moment we had together to help our love grow stronger and more certain.
