Mobility Needs

Please email me directly letting me know if you have mobility restrictions and need to park close to the reception area – we will be sure to save you a parking spot.

Parking

Parking is very limited at Camp Olave, so please carpool where possible. The one parking lot that is available on-site will be reserved for those who are staying overnight and those who have mobility restrictions – if you do not fall into this category please do not park here. For everyone else, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 1581 Jack rd. across the street from the camp has generously offered their parking lot to use for free. There is also street parking along Jack rd. and Browning road. Please leave 30 minutes to find parking and walk into the site. (See parking map below)

Dogs

Sadly, there are no dogs allowed

Smoking

There is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ON SITE, whether that be vaping, cigarettes or other. We will have a designated smoking area on the beach, which is public property. Please dispose of your butts in the designated disposal areas. This is a pristine area that children frequent, so we do not want any kind of litter.

Camp Olave Grounds

Everyone is welcome any time from Saturday to Monday to come and enjoy the grounds, whether you are staying there or not.

Coming to the beach

- The beach is beautiful, but has very little shade, so if you are planning on coming and setting up for the day, please bring your own shade covering

- We also recommend bringing water shoes, as depending on the tide there may be stones and pebbles you will have to walk over as you enter the water

- Please bring beach toys! (floaties, kayaks and paddle boards welcome!)
