Camp Olave (GGC)

1570 Jack Rd, Sechelt, BC V7Z 0A1, Canada

For those of you interested in having a more rustic camp experience. You are welcome to stay on-site from June 29th - July 1st, 2024 (2 nights).

Family who are coming in from out of town will be given priority to stay in one of the bunkhouse cabins. Cabins are fully equipped with kitchen-ware, electricity, etc., but you will need to bring your own bedding. We will be in-touch with you directly regarding these details.

Out-of-town friends will be given priority to stay at one of the many tenting sites where there is the option of bringing your own tent, or using one of the canvas tents that are already erected. All sites have access to bathroom facilitates, outdoor kitchens, running water and refrigeration. Please let us know in your RSVP if you are interested in staying on-site.

Locals - if you are also interested in staying at the camp, please let us know in your RSVP. Spots will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal

Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, BC V7W 2T5, Canada
(888) 223-3779

Okay, so we live on a peninsula where a 40 minute ferry is required to get here. We STRONGLY recommend booking your ferry reservation as early as possible as sailing waits can be upwards of 8 hours on long weekends and you DO NOT want to get stuck at the Horseshoe bay terminal with long-weekend traffic. To caution you further, you used to be able to park and walk into the village while you waited for your sailing. Now you are held back outside of the terminal where you aren't allowed to leave your car, which can make for a hot, horribly uncomfortable wait.

All this to say, you should be able to make a ferry reservation as early as March 2024, so make a note on your calendar and book as early as possible.
