Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding ceremony will be held at the historic Tudor Place, located in Georgetown. We will be outdoors, on the Bowling Green, in an intimate garden space, just steps away from where we got engaged. We will then head over to our favorite restaurant, Obelisk, for a private dinner reception. Both locations have significant meaning to us and are tied into our love for each other, as well as the city we now call home. We are so excited to share these special places with you all as we celebrate our future together.

What Is The Dress Code?

Dress code is formal attire; we would love to see our loved ones dressed up for our big day. Ladies, please wear either a floor-length, tea-length, midi formal dress, or a dressy jumpsuit/pantsuit. Gentlemen, please wear a suit and tie.

What Time Should I Arrive to The Ceremony?

Please arrive by 3:30 pm. (30 minutes prior to the start time) to avoid any delays in traffic, and ensure you are able to sit where you wish. Ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Is Driving to the Ceremony advisable?

No, Tudor Place is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Georgetown, but lacks in available parking. We recommend using a ride share service to arrive to the ceremony. Additionally, we will be providing a private bus for all guests to be transported from the ceremony to the reception venue.

Can I Bring A Plus One?

We unfortunately cannot accommodate any additional guests due to limited capacity at the venues. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you all there!

Can I Take Photos During The Ceremony?

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony which means we kindly ask that all phones are silenced and put away. We have hired a professional photographer to capture this moment and we would love for you all to truly be present and enjoy the ceremony with us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

What happens after the Ceremony?

After we say “I Do!”, don't run off just yet! As a part of our continued gratitude we want to have our photograph taken with you all before boarding the shuttle to the reception. Upon arrival, Obelisk's staff will have small bites and other refreshments ready while you wait for the bride and groom to arrive.

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Your RSVP response would be appreciated no later than August 15th. Please fill out and mail back your RSVP card enclosed in your invitation; postage is included.
