Peter and I met on Bumble, and our first date was at a cozy Mexican restaurant called Uncle Julio's. From the moment we sat down, the conversation flowed effortlessly. It was the kind of first date you hope for but rarely get, and by the time we left, we both knew something special was beginning.

What stood out most was how easy it was to just be ourselves with each other. From the beginning, Peter was always there when I needed him, always put a smile on my face, and his kindness (and love for his dog Rosco-and eventually our little Piper) made me fall for him even faster.

Over time, we created some amazing memories together. We’ve traveled to some incredible places—like Las Vegas, where we started the tradition of visiting a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in every city that has one. In New York, we saw the Lion King on Broadway and even got to hold a sloth! And in Colorado, we braved a snowstorm for hours in a car with two of my siblings after being awake all night—proof that Peter would do anything for me.

And then came Disney World. Peter proposed at Animal Kingdom, right in front of the Tree of Life. I had my heart set on getting to the park early and riding every ride, but Peter kept insisting we stop for photos. I was not thrilled. Little did I know, those pictures would capture the moment he asked me to marry him. It was the most magical surprise, and I’m so glad I said yes (to the photos and the proposal)!

Peter's dedication and kindness are just a few of the many things I love about him. But of course, every great love story comes with quirks—like how he leaves his socks everywhere or drops his dirty clothes right next to the laundry basket instead of in it. On the other hand, Peter loves my sense of humor and the way I care deeply for the people around me. He’d probably also say my "cleaning OCD" and sassiness keep him on his toes.

We’re so excited to continue building our life together—traveling the world and, one day, starting a family of our own. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
