- May I bring my children?
Sorry, but this is an adults only event. Consider this a mommy & daddy vacation! We love kids but we also know they hate weddings. Plus, any place with booze and partying is not for children.
- Can I have a +1 if you didn't note it?
We carefully thought out our guest list and gave those with long-term significant others an additional +1. We didn't want anyone to feel obligated to "find a date". Plus, this wedding will be full of people you already know and everyone is there to have a good time. But feel free to email us if you really wish to have to someone accompany you.
- Why did you choose to get married mid-week, December 6th?
We decided it would be most meaningful for us to get married on our anniversary which is December 6th. We celebrated that special day for 9 years and did not want to just forget about it for sentimental reasons. We also got engaged on Christmas so December means a lot to us!
- What is the weather like in December in San Luis Obispo, CA?
The weather ranges from mid to high 60's during the day, and mid 40's at night. Make sure to bring a jacket!
- What is the dress code of the wedding?
Elegant Attire, which simply means we encourage you to dress up, but to your own comfort level. If you would like to wear a fancy ballroom gown or tux, go for it! But if you prefer a pant suit, cocktail dress, or a button up shirt and dress pants, that's okay too!
- Is there a hotel block?
Yes, there is. The Madonna in gives a hotel block of 10 rooms at a time. Please be sure to call and make your reservation so you get the EXACT room you want! We also recommend having your top 5 favorite rooms written down prior to calling. Many rooms are already booked so your first choice may not be available

- Does the Madonna Inn offer a shuttle to and from the airport?
Yes, the San Luis Obispo airport is conveniently located less than 5 miles from the Madonna Inn. The Madonna Inn offers a free complimentary airport shuttle from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m daily. PLEASE call to make shuttle reservations 24 hours prior to your scheduled landing and departure. Phone: (800) 543-9666
- Can I take photos during the wedding with my phone?
Absolutely! Snap away! But we kindly ask you keep your phones on silent. Please hashtag all your photos #BippityBoppityBarrett
- Where is the wedding ceremony?
The ceremony is at the Madonna Inn's Secret Garden.
- What time does it begin? & When should I be there?
The ceremony time is 2PM. We suggest getting there 10 to 15 minutes prior to enjoy the string quartet and hot chocolate bar and to find seating.
- Where is the cocktail hour?
The cocktail hour is followed by the ceremony in the Secret Garden.
- Where is the reception?
The reception will be down in Madonna Inn's Venetian Room.
- Will there be alcohol?
Yes, the loud mouth soup will be flowing.
- Will there be a DJ & dancing?
Yes, the one and only Rockstar Aaron will be DJing the reception and we hope the endless flow of drinks will get many people on the dance floor!
- Is the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all within walking distance to each other?
Yes, they are all conveniently close. However, some of the hotel rooms are a bit uphill. If you need transportation to and from each event, or a ride back to your room please let us know in advance. The Madonna Inn staff will kindly shuttle you around in golf carts.
- Will parking be available at the Madonna Inn?
Yes, the Madonna Inn offers free parking to both visitors and guests. Visitor parking can be found upon entry into the hotel parking lot in front of the restaurants. Guest parking will located in front of the guests designated hotel rooms.
- What if I have a dietary restriction?
We will offer a meat dish, a fish dish and a vegetarian dish. If you are vegan we can easily request that the vegetarian dish be made vegan friendly. Please leave a note on the RSVP insert, or note any further dietary restrictions.
- Where are you registered?
The happy couple is registered at Macy's.
- Do I have to RSVP?
YES! Please do! We already addressed and stamped the RSVP envelope so please fill out the RSVP card and send it back to us. You can also RSVP here on our website. Please do so by October 31st! Thank you.
- Will last names be changing after the wedding?
Yes. Crysta will be taking Aaron's last name, "Crysta Barrett"
