This photo was taken in December when Crystal's mom and Jorge's mom made a wedding dress shopping trip with Crystal.

Crystal's parents own Round Hill Alpacas, a family-centered farm home to 35 alpacas.

Alpacas are native to Perú.

Little did we know then, at some point during that day the question was asked, "Wouldn't it be fun to have an alpaca in the wedding?"

Then in January, Crystal's wedding attendant, Dr. Kyle Schiefelbein-Guerrero, asked the same question.

"Wouldn't it be fun to have an alpaca in the wedding?"

Something was clearly afoot.

So, after conversations with Crystal's parents, the venue, and family friends, we're going to have a pair of alpacas at the wedding.

Our flower girl is going to walk an alpaca down the aisle.

The alpaca gets to be the ring bearer.

Because, why not?
