Sam Adams is a published novelist and master certified coach. She lives in Central NY with her husband, son, and fur babies, where she has a half-dozen half-complete crochet projects going at any given time. Sam met Crystal in coach certification, and they have been coaching together and growing their businesses ever since.

The Rev. Dr. Julia Burkey is one of Crystal’s dear friends and classmates from Union Theological Seminary in New York where they lived on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They lived on the 7th floor of the student dorms together for 3 years (North Kitchen forever!). Julia is now the Senior Pastor of Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ in Madison, WI where she lives with her spouse and their 2 year old.

Kara Hackleman is from Greenfield, Indiana. I am a Life & Weight Loss Coach. I am friends with Crystal and met her and our Fab 5 group was formed in coaching certification. We have become fast friends that support & challenge each other in business and friendship. I was there to see the hair flip moment when she decided that she might indeed be interested in a relationship. While we all know Crystal is a strong independent woman it has been an honor to get to know Jorge, the man who excites and empowers her, while loving her exactly how she deserves.

Curtis Hall lives in Coventry, CT with his parents and 35 fluff balls at Round Hill Alpacas. He's Crystal's younger brother. Curtis a visual artist who loves to work in pastels and pen and ink. He also weaves on a hand loom. His artwork can be found at Cards by Curtis. Curtis and Crystal loved their childhood summer vacations at the beach on Cape Cod, and Curtis enjoyed attending every single one of her graduate school graduations in New York City.

Gina Lucente-Cole is an executive coach and consultant who lives in the Boston area with her husband and 2 kids. She first met Crystal virtually in coach training, which while not as rigorous as a Ph.D. program, was no less impactful. She is excited to be both witness to and part of the amazing and life-expanding events of her friend and Jorge.

I'm Michael J Macmanus III from Dallas, Texas. I'm the Anxiety Work Coach. Crystal and I were in the Life Coach School Certification program together in 2021. Then, I met Jorge when he came with Crystal to our Fall 2022 Mastermind Conference in Boston.

Dr. Kyle Schiefelbein-Guerrero (he/him) is the Steck-Miller Assistant Professor of Worship and Liturgy at United Lutheran Seminary, and Vicar at St. Timothy Lutheran Church. He currently resides in Philadelphia, although spends time throughout the year in Berkeley, CA, where his husband Rommel continues to reside. Kyle first met Crystal during his faculty interview in spring 2019, and the two became close after his first semester at the seminary (although she later told him that he made a bad first impression when arriving).

David Goler and Jorge met at West Orange High School. When David first laid his eyes on Jorge, he knew it would be an everlasting relationship. There was a group of friends in high school. They called themselves the core four. In the group was Sam, Alex (Kuppy), Jorge, and David. They were the most popular kids in high school. The last paragraph is mostly made up. The Core Four has a nice sound to it though, doesn't it? Currently, David lives in Pepper Pike, which is a suburb of Cleveland. He works as an advertising sales executive for a local tv station. He is married to Arielle and they have two little girls, Marley (3.5 yrs) and Remi (1.5 yrs).

Alexandra Gutierrez is Jorge's younger sister. She attended Cornell University and now works as a Private Wealth Management analyst at Goldman Sachs in Miami, FL. She enjoys cooking vegan food, reading philosophy, going to the gym and to boat shows. Ask her anything about Kantian ethics or investing. Jorge is not only a brother, but has been Alexandra's teacher, guidance counselor, running buddy, nutritionist, rival, confidant and teammate. They are 10 years apart, so Jorge suffered through the gates first, but provided Alexandra with the wisdom on the paths she could take.

Jorge and Sam met in the halls of West Orange High School in New Jersey, along with Kuppy and Dave, a couple of eons ago. They started as bitter dance rivals competing in intense games of Dance Dance Revolution but that rivalry slowly turned into mutual respect and admiration. From there friendship blossomed and they have remained best friends ever since. No matter where in the world Sam ends up living, Jorge has come to visit and explore with him.

My name is Alex Kupperman, or Kuppy, which has been a nickname that's stuck with me for as long as I've known Jorge. I'm an actuary, and I live in northern Virginia outside of Washington, DC. Jorge and I met back in high school, but our close friendship really started when Jorge hosted a house party that turned out to not be the big success he originally planned. But even as most people left early, I stuck it out and it ended up being great just hanging out. Even though we don't see each other too often anymore, Jorge's been one of my closest friends ever since.

My name is Gianni Pannizzo. I live in the Philadelphia area and currently work in IT in the financial services industry. I had the pleasure of meeting Jorge freshman year at Penn State and have been great friends ever since!

Dr. Elena Reynoso and Jorge met at Columbia University. She was Jorge's boss there, and they developed a long lasting friendship. Even though they spent many years apart, their friendship has continued to grow ever since they both moved to Philadelphia. Elena works in clinical research at Johnson and Johnson.

I am a high school science teacher in Pennsylvania. I've been a teacher for twelve years and currently work for the Pennsbury School District. Since I am able to teach all sciences, what I teach varies from semester to semester. I live in Langhorne, Pennsylvania with my wife Lauren and our two girls Elizabeth and Olivia. I have known Jorge since my junior year at Penn State. We've been close ever since. We've gone through many things together and share many characteristics. We were always dedicated to our studies/careers, families and friends, and to health and fitness.
