Wedding Ceremony At "Lower" Tapco River Access Point
May 17, 2025
10:00 AM–11:00 AM
Lower Tapco River Access Point
3400 Sycamore Canyon Rd, Clarkdale, AZ
Attire: Dressy Casual
Please read the following! Dress comfortably in khakis, shorts, dresses or jeans and cowboy boots! It will be warm, but it may cool down a little at night. We will have majority of the activities outside and want everyone to be comfortable for some nature strolls and not afraid to get dirty. The ceremony will be brief for an intimate stand up gathering which is a short walk to the river and there is thick sand, so heels are not recommended! Bring your binoculars there are many birds to view and the occasional deer. The Verde River is wild and scenic, and the last of the free-flowing rivers in Arizona. Love is the reason for this confluence and the Verde River is the star! IMPORTANT: Parking is limited to the top parking lot and only a couple of spots we have reserved for handicap which are at the bottom. Do not park in any area roped off for the ranger or the kayak tours or you could get towed. They do have a suggested donation per car of $1-$5 cash to park at the top as this is a public area and cannot be reserved for weddings and parties. Follow the path down to the river and we will be to the far right (north) as you can go. Standing room only, no chairs, so again, dress comfortably. We will arrive an hour before to take pictures, so if anyone wants pictures, please come prior to the ceremony as we will be departing to Richardson ranch as our meeting place to the kayak adventure immediately after the ceremony. Those that do not wish to kayak and are lodging at the ranch can enjoy the ranch, or see the travel tab for more ideas on fun things to do.
