To help avoid any confusion with the various events we have planned, we wanted to offer a bit of clarity.

Due to capacity constraints, we’ve created separate guest lists for each event. When you RSVP, you’ll see the specific details for the event(s) to which you’ve been invited. This is why RSVP by the cut-off dates is crucial, as this can open up capacity for others who might be able to join.

NOTE: Each event has different RSVP cut-off dates.

As we mentioned on our Wedding Ceremony page, we really wish we could include everyone in everything—but we have to work within the limits we have.

To see details for each event, you’ll need to RSVP to each one separately. You can always go back and update your responses if you’d like to see the info again.

If you’re unsure about anything, just reach out—we’re happy to help however we can!

Below, we have added a few key points to each event. We have also updated each event for times and venues. Please check your RSVP to see which event pertains to you and/or your guest.

Please reach out if you have any questions you might have. We are happy to answer.

-- Please pack a pair of BLACK sunglasses (this is for our group photo). They do not need to be expensive, just BLACK. Not grey, not carbon, not navy blue… just BLACK, please. It can be any style, just BLACK.

-- Snow walking shoes: we will be on snow for our group photo, please be safe. Highly recommend flat walking shoes (ideally snow boots but not necessary).

-- Indoor shoes: This is optional, however you might be more comfortable inside if your feet aren't sweaty in snow boots.

-- Bring a warm coat: it doesn't have to match your Semi-Formal/Cocktail outfit, we just want you to be warm for you. We will have a coat rack and a place to put all the extra clothes at the venue

-- Load the gondola NO LATER than 12:20pm at the BLACKCOMB BASE GONDOLA (Upper Village)

We will have someone greeting at the loading area with a sign and lift tickets for you (no need to purchase)

--It will be appx. 5-10 min walk from the village. Consider taking a hotel shuttle, free bus or taxi/cab.

--Doors Open at 7 pm - we are hoping to have everyone in within the first hour, please plan accordingly. The evening is 7pm-1am. Once you have checked in, you are able to come and go (this is key for the parents in the room, if you need to leave and come back)

-- This is guest list only; there will be someone at the top of the stairs supporting checking everyone in. Not on the list, not coming in. Please double-check your RSVP.

-- We will have some food stations to nibble at later on in the evening, so please make sure you have a snack/dinner before arriving.

-- Drinks are available for individual purchase, aka "CASH bar" (We love you all, but we don't want to encourage (by accident, of course) over consumption. We have a few non-alcoholic beverage options as well.

-- Anyone under 19 years of age is allowed to be at the GLC till 10 pm, no later. Sorry, Liquor License rules.

-- Location: Lorette

-- Cocktails: starts at 6 pm

-- Dinner: 7 pm

-- Attire: Cocktail

-- We are planning to have some light speeches throughout the evening, and to keep the night rolling along, we are going to ask for your dinner choice beforehand.

-- We already into account some of the dietary requirements with these choices, however people love choices/have preferences. Please read the options - Starter, main, dessert. I will need these ASAP…no later than Thursday April 16 or Crystal and Terry will pick for you. Keep your eyes out for an additional email for the options.

-- Meet: Blackcomb Base Gondola (if Excalibur Gondola is not open)

-- Time: 10 am (if you want to meet later, you totally can on the mountain)

-- Lift Tickets: I've been trying to round up as many 50% off lift tickets and sightseeing tickets as possible. If you plan to ski more days here, purchase your tickets ahead of time; they are cheaper that way.

-- This is a casual day of skiing/snowboarding and sightseeing. You don't need to be an expert; this is just for fun. Fun outfits are welcome, I was even checking out some colourful zinc!

-- Après: 4pm-ish

-- Location: Dubb Linn Gate

-- Come to one or both. This is an informal event, extremely casual. Come after you have finished your day skiing, working, etc. and join us for a bevy, stories and meet everyone who made their way to Whistler!

-- Attire: Come as you are ie. tired and likely a wee bit fuzzy around the edges

-- I am sure we are all going to feel a bit worse for wear the next day. This is a very casual hangout, grab a full breakfast or just a coffee. Depending on your schedule, you might be checking out of your hotel already, why not reward yourself with a mimosa and see us before you head out?
