We are so excited for you all to share the week (4 days), starting on here in Whistler, BC, Canada! We have events planned each day, some daytime and some nighttime. You are in choice for the events you would like to partake in. All or just one. We are just so happy that you have taken the time to come celebrate with us! The Wedding Week "officially" begins Tuesday, April 21, (aiming to arrive April 19/20th). If you are not able to be here the whole time, we totally understand. We are just so happy you are able to join us for anytime during the week. Please take a look at what we have planned, please RSVP (there are deadlines for capacities), if you are no longer able to attend one or all the events, please let us know. There are different RSVP dates for each event. PS: In each event, please expand "read more". Our Wedding

Hey everyone! To help avoid any confusion with the various events we have planned, we wanted to offer a bit of clarity. Due to capacity constraints, we’ve created separate guest lists for each event. When you RSVP, you’ll see the specific details for the event(s) to which you’ve been invited. This is why RSVP by the cut-off dates is crucial, as this can open up capacity for others who might be able to join.NOTE: Each event has different RSVP cut-off dates. As we mentioned on our Wedding Ceremony page, we really wish we could include everyone in everything—but we have to work within the limits we have. To see details for each event, you’ll need to RSVP to each one separately. You can always go back and update your responses if you’d like to see the info again. If you’re unsure about anything, just reach out—we’re happy to help however we can! We appreciate your understanding and support!

Below, we have added a few key points to each event. We have also updated each event for times and venues. Please check your RSVP to see which event pertains to you and/or your guest. Please reach out if you have any questions you might have. We are happy to answer.

Ceremony

-- Please pack a pair of BLACK sunglasses (this is for our group photo). They do not need to be expensive, just BLACK. Not grey, not carbon, not navy blue… just BLACK, please. It can be any style, just BLACK. -- Snow walking shoes: we will be on snow for our group photo, please be safe. Highly recommend flat walking shoes (ideally snow boots but not necessary). -- Indoor shoes: This is optional, however you might be more comfortable inside if your feet aren't sweaty in snow boots. -- Bring a warm coat: it doesn't have to match your Semi-Formal/Cocktail outfit, we just want you to be warm for you. We will have a coat rack and a place to put all the extra clothes at the venue -- Load the gondola NO LATER than 12:20pm at the BLACKCOMB BASE GONDOLA (Upper Village)We will have someone greeting at the loading area with a sign and lift tickets for you (no need to purchase)--It will be appx. 5-10 min walk from the village. Consider taking a hotel shuttle, free bus or taxi/cab.

OUTFIT THEME: DENIM and DIAMONDSHere is the<a href="https://canva.link/1daeaquh2zeg98m" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> Canva Outfit Inspo board</a> to help you. Dress to impress! --Doors Open at 7 pm - we are hoping to have everyone in within the first hour, please plan accordingly. The evening is 7pm-1am. Once you have checked in, you are able to come and go (this is key for the parents in the room, if you need to leave and come back) -- This is guest list only; there will be someone at the top of the stairs supporting checking everyone in. Not on the list, not coming in. Please double-check your RSVP. -- We will have some food stations to nibble at later on in the evening, so please make sure you have a snack/dinner before arriving. -- Drinks are available for individual purchase, aka "CASH bar" (We love you all, but we don't want to encourage (by accident, of course) over consumption. We have a few non-alcoholic beverage options as well. -- Anyone under 19 years of age is allowed to be at the GLC till 10 pm, no later. Sorry, Liquor License rules.

Rehearsal Dinner

-- Location: Lorette-- Cocktails: starts at 6 pm-- Dinner: 7 pm-- Attire: Cocktail -- We are planning to have some light speeches throughout the evening, and to keep the night rolling along, we are going to ask for your dinner choice beforehand. -- We already into account some of the dietary requirements with these choices, however people love choices/have preferences. Please read the options - Starter, main, dessert. I will need these ASAP…no later than Thursday April 16 or Crystal and Terry will pick for you. Keep your eyes out for an additional email for the options.UPDATE April 9: Email has been sent, please check your inbox. Need your choices, pls.

Mountain and Après

-- Meet: Blackcomb Base Gondola (if Excalibur Gondola is not open)-- Time: 10 am (if you want to meet later, you totally can on the mountain) -- Lift Tickets: I've been trying to round up as many 50% off lift tickets and sightseeing tickets as possible. If you plan to ski more days here, purchase your tickets ahead of time; they are cheaper that way. -- This is a casual day of skiing/snowboarding and sightseeing. You don't need to be an expert; this is just for fun. Fun outfits are welcome, I was even checking out some colourful zinc! -- Après: 4pm-ish-- Location: Dubb Linn Gate -- Come to one or both. This is an informal event, extremely casual. Come after you have finished your day skiing, working, etc. and join us for a bevy, stories and meet everyone who made their way to Whistler!

-- Attire: Come as you are ie. tired and likely a wee bit fuzzy around the edges -- I am sure we are all going to feel a bit worse for wear the next day. This is a very casual hangout, grab a full breakfast or just a coffee. Depending on your schedule, you might be checking out of your hotel already, why not reward yourself with a mimosa and see us before you head out? -- Meals and drinks are available for individual purchase.

If you haven't received an RSVP to the ceremony... We truly wish we could have everyone join us for the ceremony however, due to the limited capacity of our venue, we've had to make some difficult decisions regarding our guest list. Wedding Ceremony Information

POSTED April 7, 2026:I can't believe we have less than 18 days till our big day, and we are so excited is an understatement to see you here in Whistler, BC! For some of you, this will be your first time here and for others, welcome back! We wanted to make sure that you felt that you had all the information you needed. We do have events that have specific dress attire (ie. After Party), you have told your guests of these dress-attired events so they are not surprised or feel rushed. As we have 5 events in 4 days, please double-check your RSVP, this will have all the necessary information, and you will be able to see the events you have been invited to. Remember, we have had some venue constraints at our Rehearsal Dinner and Ceremony, so we can't have everyone there; however, please get involved at our Mountain and Après and After Party. As we are not able to have everyone at Christine's for the Ceremony/Reception for capacity reasons, Rendezvous is still open to the public. Meaning you can try to be the paparazzi through the window to oversee the deck where the ceremony is planned to be held. We are totally ok with this! We have updated the website for each event and dated everything so you know what the latest information is. Health Update:

We wanted to give you all a life update as well: Short Story:Terry has/had colon cancer Longer story:He is ok! On April 1, he had a robotic-assisted anterior resection surgery to remove the adenocarcinoma, which is a type of cancer in the sigmoid colon. This tumour has been removed and sent to Pathology for testing to confirm what stage it is, which we will not know till sometime after the wedding. We have been so lucky to get quick action from the medical system and everyone has been very kind and answered all of Crystal's random questions. After a short hospital stay of 3 nights, we are now back home recovering. Terry will be 3 weeks post-op during the Wedding Week, meaning that he is still very much healing, therefore might get more fatigued/rest breaks, not able to snowboard but will be the best tour guide for our sightseers and not match Guinness for Guinness with you. However, the vibes will still be all-time! Terry chose to have it before our wedding, not to have this clouding over him during this happy week of celebrations. You are our closest friends and family, and we wanted to share this with you. We are both so excited to see all of you! Lessons: If colon cancer is not something “runs” in your family, most screenings don’t start happening in BC till your 50’s. If you suspect anything odd in your gut and it doesn’t go away, get tests done. He went for blood tests and a CT that didn’t show anything. The pain was still there, for months. Got booked for a colonoscopy…very happy we had a good friend who is a doctor, an almost-wife who reminded Terry of his almost vows of “forever-forever” and advocating for ourselves that more tests needed to be done.

UPDATE: April 7, 2026

In the strange time of the world, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, two contrasting humans crossed paths in an unexpected way—on a dating app. It was late September 2020. Terry had just returned from a visit to friends in Ontario, and Crystal was settling back into her Whistler life after living in Vancouver for 18 months. Terry made the first move, commenting on a photo Crystal posted of a jump shot in Hawaii. Crystal took a look through his profile, noticing one snowboarding picture among six other versions of Terry, and figured, “Why not?” She was intrigued—there were no fish or dead animals in the pictures, after all. They began chatting casually, exchanging a few texts. Eventually, they agreed to meet for a drink on a random Tuesday night. The usual pleasantries were exchanged, but Terry kept checking his iWatch every 30 seconds. It seemed a little odd. They joked about whether they might have met at some party or through mutual friends over the years of living in the same town.Then came the moment. Terry said, “You must know who I am.”Crystal raised an eyebrow, replying, “I’ve lived here for 20 years. Do you know who I am?”Terry, confidently: “No…”Crystal: “See, it doesn’t matter.”Soon after, Terry excused himself. Apparently, he had a Board Meeting the next day, and his team was bombarding him with messages about presentation inputs. Hence, looking at his iWatch, the messages were coming through distracting him.Crystal, unsure if it was true or not, just took him at face value. Outside voice was cordial; wished him luck and said good-bye. Her inside voice saying, “Thank you, next.” (LOL) How many days do you think it took Terry to message Crystal after their first date? Three days? Five days? A whole week—seven days? NOPE! It was 10 days! Crystal was shocked at a message at all, she wasn't going to message him. Someone who’d said, “You must know who I am” would have the audacity to message her again? But he did. And she was glad he did; she was impressed with his character and the guts it took.More casual pleasantries were exchanged before Terry said, “It would be great to grab a drink sometime soon.”Crystal, feeling cheeky: “Am I going on a date with you or your iWatch?”Terry chuckled to himself. He appreciated the “cheekiness/callout” and said, “Heard. LOL”Crystal, not missing a beat: “Okay, I’m free next Tuesday.” Friends of Crystal's thought it was nutty that she gave Terry a second chance after the iWatch date and no contact for 10 days, but after that quick-witted exchange and bravery to message her to try again, she figured it was worth seeing him “one more time.” Their second date went much smoother. After some light conversation—like, “What was your first car?”—the conversation transitioned to something more significant. Crystal noticed the familiar Terry move: the sleeve-pull, when he gets interested in a subject, revealing his bare wrists… No iWatch!Crystal smiled. “Ah, no iWatch I see.”Terry replied flirtatiously, smiling back, “I listen.”And from there, things clicked. They've been inseparable ever since. Terry now owns a mountain bike, snowboards 50+ days a year, and goes to Crossfit 3-5 times a week. Crystal now does her taxes on time, has a furry office manager, owns her own iWatch now, and even watches “sports” (sometimes). And they’ve never been happier, and Tuesdays are still their regular date nights/days.

The weather in Whistler can be unpredictable in the Spring. It can be sunny, raining, snowing and bluebird skies all in one day.The average temperatures range between daily Highs of 11°C = 52°F to Lows 0°C = 32°FIt is a mountain town, you can wear jeans, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt/jumper to pretty much any place. Dress up or down - that is totally up to you. Whatever you want to wear! The key is layers.We have local stores that if you forget anything, you can purchase it here. Here are a few recommendations to get you started:--Comfortable walking shoes/sneakers/runners. You can pretty much walk to everything you need on foot.-- Waterproof coat.
