When Dakota saw Steve (and his handsome pug Spock) on a dating app, she was intrigued. On November 4, 2020, a few days after matching online, Steve and Dakota went on their first date together. Steve brought along his trusty wingman and Dakota instantly fell in love…with Spock. Dakota was smitten with Steve from the start though and loved how he could always make her laugh.


Steve and Dakota’s relationship developed quickly and after just 8 months of dating, they moved in together. They traveled to Spain together for their one year anniversary and realized how great they were as travel partners.



For their second anniversary, Steve and Dakota traveled to Italy. They explored ancient ruins in Rome and Pompeii, took in the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast, and filled themselves with fresh pasta and wine. It was a dream. 


The following 4th of July, during a trip to Mexico, Steve got down on one knee and proposed. After shedding lots of happy tears, Dakota said yes. 


When deciding where to get married, Steve and Dakota could not stop thinking about Italy - how beautiful it is, how warm the people are, and how amazing the food is. Steve and Dakota are thrilled to be able to get married in such a unique location, and are so appreciative that our family and friends are going to be there with us to celebrate the big day!
