Damir & Madison

May 3, 2025 • Salt Lake City, UT, United States

Damir and Madison are so excited to bring two cultures together! As exciting and meaningful as they are, we understand there will be traditions maybe unfamiliar to some. So what should you expect?

Boutonniere:

At the door of the reception, there will be two ladies with a basket of little boutonnieres. When guests arrive and if they would like to, they can give cash to the ladies for a boutonniere. There is no set cash amount you have to give, it is up to the guest, and you do not have to do this. The money will go to the bride and groom if you do choose to buy one.

Reception:

At the reception, there will be assigned seating for all families. A full course dinner will be served and more ALL NIGHT. There will be drinks, mocktails, and servers. Expect to stay for the dinner and the dancing that will follow! There will be a live band that will play Balkan music, and American music will be played as well. We would love if both families danced to both! (Please see Kolo for traditional dance). The reception will go to late into the night, we would love to celebrate with you, so please stay as long as you can!

Gifts:

Damir and Madison do not have a registry, but would be grateful for any monetary gifts given. There will be our Venmo link posted at the reception as well as an envelope box.

Kolo:

Kolo is a traditional dance usually done at weddings, family parties, and more. It is danced in a circle while holding hands. We have attached videos for you to learn and practice. It is Maddy's favorite :) We would love for everyone to participate!
