Our love story began in Richmond, Virginia, back in 2016. To set the scene&hellip;Dan had just come back to visit his humble Richmond roots post 2016 Cavaliers Championship, feeling mighty confident and radiating bravado. After sitting down for a glass of Chardonnay with his friends & teammates at one of their favorite Richmond staples, Curbside, in walks Dana and sweeps Dan off his feet. Needless to say the teammates were not too thrilled when two girls walked in and crashed their catch up (thank you for the ambush, Zachary Chu and Ali Lanasa), but this didn’t stop Dan in his pursuit. That weekend Dana and Dan spent a lot of time getting to know each other and their friends. A dinner Sunday evening before Dans departure back to The Land emphasized their mutual love of&nbsp;good food, good competition, and even better wine. After the second Richmond trip, they decided they needed to figure out if this was the real deal. Dana flew up to Cleveland, and despite the fierce winds and cold weather, she decided Dan was well worth it. 1.5 years later, Dana and Dan decided it was better than feeling right, so the San Diego native moved to Cleveland. And the rest is history! 2 years’ worth of memories later, 18 trips back and forth to Cleveland, big career changes, and welcoming one adorable Frenchie into our family, Mr. Stanley, they capitalized on their love for one another. About a year ago, Dan finally popped the question after an amazing dinner at a Tremont favorite. Following dinner was a tumultuous walk home, where Dan lured a very skeptical Dana to explore a local building (for good lighting for the photographer), Dan asked Dana to spend the rest of her life with him, and she said yes. We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!

Dana met Caroline in 7th grade English class, where they weren’t too fond of each other at first&hellip; low and behold they wound up on the same field hockey team and the bond was then immediate. Caroline and Dana were then inseperable for their remaining high school days, and being cross-country for college still couldn’t keep them apart. Caroline (Cbad PaulyD)&nbsp;is always the life of the party, and one of the most welcoming and genuine people. Despite living 3,000 miles apart, their friendship never waivers. Caroline is one of the most reliable and trustworthy friends in the world, and Dana is truly so lucky to have her in her life.&nbsp;&nbsp;Make sure you spend some time with her before she loses her voice for the evening!

Not friends, but competitors first.&nbsp;&nbsp;In 2004 they met in the Springfield High School Training Room getting ready to play against each other.&nbsp;&nbsp;Later, they would choose to go to the same University & become teammates at the Univ. of Richmond.&nbsp;&nbsp;As time passed, and players passed, these two bunk mates created an unbreakable bond that has benefited both of their lives in more ways than they could have dreamed.&nbsp;Kevin is a very serious husband, father, and basketball coach, but make sure to be around when the party is going & you will have the pleasure of seeing the Hovde shuffle.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Instant best friends is one of the best ways to describe Abby and Dana’s friendship. They met during their first careers out of college, where they were dubbed, “The Dabby,” and bonded immediately over mutual college friends and experiences, same sense of humor, and relentless sense of competition. In fact, they were so inseparable, they decided to live together, and Dana was never allowed to leave Abby's side #extrovert.&nbsp;Abby is the most sincere and caring people in the world, and will drop anything to be there for Dana, and a long distance best friendship would never change that.&nbsp;Fun fact about Abby, even though shes apart of the 10% of the population that’s tone deaf, she’s a fantastic singer. Ask her to sing her fav, Hello, by Adele.

New students to Springfield in 7th grade, both coming from previous towns that were very similar, these two future best friends had two things in common. They were oversized teenagers and they didn't take themselves too seriously. Chris and Dan became even closer in high school, after Chris became one of the cool kids in middle school, when Chris decided to join the basketball team. They were inseparable ever since. You could always see them in Pollock's Mini Van from 2004-2006, as well as S. 19th St with Frank from 2013-2014. Chris is an incredible man with an amazing sense of humor. You'll be able to find him on the dance floor doing his favorite moves, the Stiff Top &&nbsp;Stiff Bottom.

Extremely similar personalities between these two & they had no idea.&nbsp;&nbsp;Meeting numerous times, but not beginning their friendship until later in high school.&nbsp;These two had no clue how close they were about to become.&nbsp;&nbsp;Their chemistry on the court was insane, but not even close to how it was off the court.&nbsp;They became as thick as thieves and stayed so close all through college that after college it was a no brainer for them to live together with Chris. Philadelphia didn’t know what was coming back together!&nbsp;&nbsp;Frank is one of the most outgoing and charismatic men you will ever meet.&nbsp;&nbsp;His sense of humor is high level, and you won’t meet a better smile & eyelashes.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Karen and Dana met in 6th grade as a result&nbsp;of their brothers friendship, thanks Derek and Steve! Karen was always much cooler than&nbsp;Dana, and definitely perfected the art of the selfie and taught Dana the Billy face. Being the baller that Karen is, she thankfully chose to play tennis at Wake Forest, which was always fun to plan weekend visits in college. So much fun that she even ditched Dana on her first freshman year visit!&nbsp;Karen is quite possibly one of the funniest people, if you ever need a slick comeback text or to slide into someones DM, hit her up for the best response. It is highly recommended to find her on the dance floor showing off her&nbsp;moves she learned at Friday nights Y Dances back in the day.

The king of 1stimpressions did it again here.&nbsp;&nbsp;When he picked Dan up from the airport on his first flight to Univ. of Richmond, they began their lifelong friendship.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ryan and Dan became apartment mates with Kevin during college and shared some of their best life memories together, including the Horse in the Stable & the constant watching of One Tree Hill in the early afternnons.&nbsp;&nbsp;As they share many memories on the court, the best ones will always be their experiences together off of it.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can meet the best dancer at the wedding on the dance floor right after the bride & groom’s first dance all the way to the last lyric played by the band.&nbsp;One thing this man loves more than anything, is a wedding!!!

Katie and Dana met about 5 years ago in RVA through their mutual friend Abby. They were just cordial at first, but after testing the waters, their best friendship was officially&nbsp;solidified in Miami.&nbsp;After all, there always had to be some people there to reign in their friends craziness. Katie and Dana also bonded over their cynicism for all the BS&nbsp;going on in the world, and their like mindedness of Snapchat babyface filters and hollys amazing journey.&nbsp;Katie is one of the all around best people, the most subtly funniest person in the room,&nbsp;genuine, ghetto-fab & fierce, Dana couldn't be luckier to have a BFF&nbsp;like Katie in the world. Our resident “little monster” transferred into Richmond at a perfect time in everyone’s life.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sean and Dan began their friendship then, and during that first year Sean had a relentlessly unfriendly roommate. As it turns out he also became an apartment mate that year!&nbsp;These two continued to be inseparable most summers when Dan would take vacations in the offseason, there was always one person that had to be there.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dan does not have a little brother, but this man is the one that is as close as he can get.&nbsp;&nbsp;A diligent worker, and an extremely funny man will win this whole wedding over with his unforgettable laugh and his dynamic attempts at the John Wall Dance.&nbsp;

The first time Dana met Francesca she instantly knew this was the perfect match for her brother. Francesca is so kind, caring,&nbsp;cool,&nbsp;and fierce (when necessary with her crazy husband!)&nbsp;and someone Dana really looks up to.&nbsp;We couldn't have guessed what a strong connection we have built as sister-in laws. She also really knows how to rock a hat!

What started with nervousness & fear of meeting the big brother, turned into a blossoming friendship with lots of laughs & love.&nbsp;A card game that he, and his wife Francesca, brought to the Manheim residence relinquished any nerves or doubt about where this relationship was headed!&nbsp;&nbsp;Derek is one of the smartest people you will ever meet.&nbsp;&nbsp;His drive & dedication to his craft has led him to gain his PHD & continues his pursuit of saving the environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;It also has led him to be the best surfer that I know!&nbsp;&nbsp;Derek is one of the kindest and caring souls you can meet, especially when it comes to his little sister.&nbsp;&nbsp;If we are lucky, he will get with the band for a perfect rendition of “Walk the Line”.&nbsp;&nbsp;

When Natalie and Dana met, it was apparent they were going to have an immediate sisterly bond. They met at breakfast at a joint in Philly, where Natalie made a remark about Dan's mouth breathing, and instantly the bond was created.&nbsp;The best times are when Natalie and Dana team up on Dan, someone needs to be the ones to call him out! Natalie is also&nbsp;one of the wittiest gals out there, &nbsp;has such a creative eye, and fantastic taste in fashion which is another dangerous sisterly connection!
