For those of you who can make it to the island early, please join us for cocktails in Edgartown overlooking the harbor between 4:00PM and 5:30. We have reserved a space on the downstairs side deck.

Flat Point Farm, West Tisbury
Martha's Vineyard, MA

Venue: Our wedding will take place at Flat Point Farm on grass overlooking the Tisbury Great Pond.

Flat Point Farm is a diversified family-farm in West Tisbury. A working farm since the 1930's, Flat Point Farm currently produces grass-fed poultry, lamb and beef as well as cutting several thousand bales of hay. Extensive gardens and a coop of laying hens round out the list of products on the 115-acre spread on Tisbury Great Pond.

Transportation:

SHUTTLES
Guests may take shuttles from Edgartown* and Oak Bluffs. These shuttles will return guests to their pickup location as the night wraps up.

Oak Bluffs Shuttle Pickup : Shuttles will pick up guests from the Summercamp (70 Lake Ave) starting at 1PM and depart promptly at 1:15PM. Please look for signage and event coordinators to ensure that you board the correct bus as there are several weddings this weekend.
Edgartown Shuttle Pickup : ONE shuttle will pick up guests from Church Street, just off of Main Street by the Old Whaling Church. Pickup will start at 1PM and depart promptly at 1:15PM. If you are staying in Edgartown, and have not communicated this to us and wish to take the shuttle, please let us know ASAP.* Please look for signage and event coordinators to ensure that you board the correct bus as there are several weddings this weekend.

DRIVING
If you choose to drive to the wedding, please note that you will have to drive a good length down a dirt road. We will provide signage once you turn onto the dirt road and enter the property to help you locate Oyster Shack Field at Flat Point Farm.

The wedding venue is about a 30 minute drive from Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. Please give yourself buffer time to ensure you arrive by 1:45 so you can settle before the ceremony begins at 2PM.

- Take Edgartown Vineyard Haven Road west
- Turn left onto Barnes Road heading south towards the airport
- Continue on Barnes Road to the end and then turn right onto Edgartown Road
- Pass the airport on your right as you continue for ~3.5 miles
- Start looking for your next turn after you pass the fire station
- Turn left onto New Lane where you will see a Pond View Farm sign (You have gone too far if you get to Old County Road, Sweet William Way or State Road)
- Turn right onto the first dirt road. You will see a sign for Fischer and Plum Hill School
- Continue down the dirt road for a ways
- Stay right as you approach your first fork off of the dirt road. You will see a Fischer/Flat Point Farm sign. As you continue down the road you will see water on your right side.
- Almost there!!
Continue a short ways more until the road widens as you approach your next fork and enter the farming area
- Take a sharp right, keeping the barbed wire fence on your left side
- Don't worry, you're so close!!
- Keep left at the next fork
- Keep right at the next fork. You will see a large clearing up ahead.
- You have arrived! Get ready to celebrate!!
- Feel free to drive along the water's edge to drop off passengers close to the tent. Please park by the entrance to the field.

CABS (Not Recommended)
While you may be able to convince a cab to drive you to the farm, it is unlikely that you will be able to call a cab to pick you up. We highly recommend that guests drive or take shuttles to the venue. We will have a shuttle available at all times in case of emergencies.

Attire
The attire for the wedding is formal. We recommend that women wear flats or wedges as the event takes place on grass. Guests should plan to bring a light jacket or shawl as the temperature will drop moderately when the sun sets.

Please stop by our home for a bite and a breakfast cocktail to say goodbye to the newlyweds before you depart the island. The festivities begin at 10AM and run through the early afternoon.

The house is located in the Hidden Cove development. As you enter the development you will see tennis courts on your left. Take the first left at the stop sign, just past the courts. We are the second house on the right.
